Located in the village of Welton le Marsh, situated in the Lincolnshire Wolds

Adjacent is a quiet country inn providing good food and real ales.

Plenty of local walks/footpaths. Gunby National Trust estate is 1 mile away.

The keys to the cottage can be collected from Sue who is the landlady of the village pub. If there are any issues Sue will be available to help wherever possible and customers are more than welcome to come in for a drink or something to eat

“Thornside Cottage”

The cottage was lovely and well equipped for our short break. It was clean and well maintained. The owners where really nice.

“Comfortable stay”

This was an ideal base for our short break in the Lincolnshire area. The cottage was spacious for two plus our dog and was a cosy comfortable stay. It is literally a stone's throw from the owners pub who made us feel welcome. Next to the cottage is a small enclosed orchard where our dog was allowed to roam. Being so close to the pub we were able to sample one of their quiz nights and also sample the home cooked meals which were lovely, huge and great value for money. Our dog was made very welcome in there too making this a perfect mini break for all of us.

We enjoyed a couple of nights stay in Thornside cottage, Comfortable and well located to explore coast and villages. The Wheel Inn was close by too where they served a lovely Fish and chips ,

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
