A comfortable and stylish luxury log cabin set in its own paddock on a farm and riding school. Situated in a quiet countryside location, within easy reach of Mansfield, Nottingham, Newark and Southwell. Local attractions include Sherwood Forest, Clumber and Rufford Country Parks, Whitepost Farm, Robin Hoods Wheelgate Park, Papplewick Pumping Station, Newstead Abbey and Centre The Log Cabin has a good size lounge open plan area with a double Sofa bed and double Sofa ,dining table seats 4 , and is finished to a high standard. It is fully furnished with modern conveniences including TV & DVD, and a 2nd TV in a spacious bedroom with Patio doors on to the decking There is also a large outside decking area with patio furniture to enjoy the landscape with its own garden. An ideal location for walkers and cyclists with many footpaths, tracks and woodland walks close by along with a selection of pubs, restaurants and local amenities. The England region

Were in East Midlands between mansfield and nottingham at a village called ravenshead .There are lovely places to visit within a few miles of our farm and log cabin .The white post animal farm is a mile away and the Wheelgates adventure park is a mile away .Newstead abbey is 1/2 mile away and Cumber park and Rufford abbey park are about 8 miles away.Other places like Go Ape and Centre parks plus Sherwood Forest are 9 miles away .There are many other places very close to us like the Peak District and Chatsworth estates .RAMSDALE golf club and Hollingwell golf club and Cox Moor Golf club are all within 5 miles of us

Ravenshead

The village of ravenshead is about 5 miles from Nottingham town centre with excellent Shops Bars Resturant Nottingham Castle The Caves The Halls of Justice Theatres and Concert Hall FM Arena and Nottingham Ice hockey the home of the Panthers ice hockey team and brilliant bus and train and tram links in Hucknall and Kirkby in Ashfield .Were also 3 miles from Mansfield town centre which has excellent shopping and the Palace Theatre and Mining Museum plus many good bars and restaurants and Bowling Alley and Cinema all about 2 1/2 miles away. Wheel gates Pleasure Park ,White Post Farm Centre Newstead Abbey Park and 5 excellent pubs and restaurants within 1 mile from the Log Cabin .We also offer discounted horse and pony lessons and pony club days to people staying in the Log Cabin or Fairview Studio Apartment plus tractor rides and plenty of fields for your children to play in safely and open fields to picnic in .We have excellent walks on our own track which also joins a long foot path that has 2 pubs on it 1/4 mile from us.Were on a National a Cycle Route which takes you to all the woods around us in Sherwood Forest.We have a cafe on the farm .You can bring your horse for a holiday with you and have your own paddock and stable so you can sit on the veranda,large decking area and watch your horse in the paddock while you drink your wine.There are shops(supermarket) less than 1/4 mile away .The Park Hospital is a mile away and Kings Mill Hospital is about 3 miles away.
