This stone-built cottage is nestled in the hustle and bustle of Morpeth of Northumberland and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. River Cottage is a beautiful stone-built property with an unusual upside down layout, situated in the popular town of Morpeth. Hosting two bedrooms; one double and one twin with a family bathroom, this property can sleep up to four people. There is a top floor open-plan living area with a kitchen, sitting area and dining area. The glass French doors open out onto a Juliet balcony. Outside is immediate access to the shops, bars and restaurants, being ideally located behind the high street. There is also an automated ground floor garage for ample off-road parking. River Cottage is the perfect holiday getaway.

Amenities: Gas central heating. Electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, Smart TV with sky basic package, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off-road parking for 1 car as well as public car park near the property. Juliet balcony. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrian’s Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Town: Offering the remains of an historic castle, parks, riverside walks, ancient architecture and churches and an old chantry with a bagpipe museum, Morpeth is ideal for visiting surrounding attractions such as Druridge Bay to the east, the vibrant city of Newcastle to the south, Alnwick to the north and the National Trust's Wallington Hall to the west. There is also access to the Simonside and Cheviot Hills, with good walking in the countryside.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your valuable feedback. I am so sorry to hear of your disappointment in the property and our service. I can see that we have been working alongside yourself and the owner to try and come to a satisfactory resolution for you. It is up to the property owners to choose to leave additional features such as soft furnishings, so long as they are deep cleaned along with the rest of the property to ensure that they are in line with Covid cleaning standards.
