Squirrel Barn is an extremely hi-spec+hi tech ancient barn conversion, secure, secluded, very friendly+informal, very safe for children+pets. WINNER OF GOLD AWARD FOR BEST FAMILY HOLIDAY COTTAGE IN UK 2017 + 2018. Squirrel Barn is set far back from the lane in the small very beautiful ancient village of Milwich. Very close is the Green Man Pub, Gold Award Winner of best local country pub. The pub is very child+dog friendly, with a small restaurant, large beer garden, does takeaway stone baked pizza:) The pub hosts a very good summer music festival with food and marquees, duck race in the brook, and is a wonderful place for an evening before staggering back to Squirrel Barn:)

Squirrel Barn facilities+equipment available are extensive+well maintained, the cottage is kept extremely clean. There is sleeping for 12+2 in double futon in the curtained book room, with 2 bathrooms+1 downstairs toilet. BUT PLEASE READ ALL OF THE INFO+LOOK AT ALL OF THE PHOTOS. PLEASE ASK US ANY QUESTIONS YOU LIKE BEFORE BOOKING. The sleeping accommodation includes bunk beds, these are adult size bunk beds with deep sprung mattresses but the upper bunks are much better for children or teenagers. All rooms+bedrooms have internet TV's, Amazon Firesticks+bluetooth speakers. For large groups, there is a very big TV in the kitchen/diner/family room with cinema surround sound/bluetooth system+Amazon Alexa. There is abundant secure gated off-road parking+gardens. The gardens have extensive child+adult games including basket ball, darts, swing ball, bowls, boules, quoits, bat+ball games, water bombs, super soaker water guns, archery, badminton, frisbees+croquet. There are extensive inside games, including many popular board games, Monopoly, Scrabble, Risk, chess, backgammon, draughts, dominos, Brio, Lego, small snooker+table

Kitchen equipment is extremely extensive, including main oven with ceramic hob, American fridge/freezer+additional fridge, 3 x halogen work surface rings, halogen oven, slow cooker/frier, microwave/oven/grill, meat, cheese+chocolate fondues, chocolate fountain, cafetière, teapot, garlic press, pestle+mortar, toaster, double +single electric whisk, cold water+ice dispenser+very extensive equipment. Also 2 x BBQ, cauldron tripod, chiminea with roast chestnut pan, marshmallow forks, toasting forks.

The Squirrel Barn pack includes milk, juice, bread, butter, free range eggs, sugar, tea, instant+ground coffee, marmalade, jam, breakfast cereals, soaps, shampoo, conditioner, skin lotions, general cleaning materials.

Extensive bedding & towels. Travel cots, high chairs, moses basket, booster seats, toilet inserts, waterproof mattress covers, portable wheelchair, Zimmer frame, walking sticks, everything you can imagine+more:) Private secure car parking for many cars. BUT PLEASE READ THE PROPERTY INFORMATION IN FULL AND PLEASE LOOK AT ALL OF THE PHOTOGRAPHS. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. We like all guests to have a wonderful time at Squirrel Barn, so it is very important to read our information and look at all of the photos. All guests are also sent extensive information including a welcome letter, maps and directions when we receive notification of your booking. Have a very good holiday:)

    How do damage deposits work?

    If David and Elizabeth (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
