Recipient of Guest Review award for 2018 , Covid-Safe, owned by doctor, secluded in 2 acre grounds, luxurious home with cosy open fire in 9 M lounge as well as Scandinavian log burning stove in 8 M sun room! Sleeps 13 But great for social distancing as 2 sets bedrooms on either side of living rooms. 4 double bedrooms, 2 twins, three bathrooms. Quiet, in best area of Inverness, beautiful (2 acres) garden, which includes gas BBQ, stream and roaming deer! 10 min country walk shops /5 min drive City centre .

Enjoy the peaceful setting within 2 tranquil acres, with paths winding through the established wooded grounds featuring many unusual species of trees, and a stream meandering through the bottom of the garden. This Glorious space has large secluded lawns and sheltered patio areas provide extra seclusion. Garden and Farmland surrounds this lovely property, a perfect highland setting to see wildlife, which also benefits from fabulous light at all times of day. Wifi too!

The Linn is well situated, just 0.5 miles away from Inverness, the Celtic capital of the Highlands, with easy access to both the airport (7 miles) and the centre of town. There is ample parking, so you are more than welcome to park as many cars as you like, you can also walk down to the local amenities, supermarket, craft shops and sports center, as well as bus stops, in 10 minutes.

Then usual thing about this property is exceptional living space within easy reach of the centre of Inverness. Having two large bright and airy reception rooms means that families and children can have different areas to entertain themselves! Also, it's lovely having a lot of garden and countryside around about that is totally private and not overlooked by any neighbours.

- The Morning Light Room: a large 9M conservatory on one side of the house, with wood burning State of the art Scandinavian stove.

- The Afternoon Light Room: a 10m x 4.5m room with wool carpets and an open fire, benefiting from soft evening light, perfect for a large group setting

- Two brand-new TVs in the Sunroom and big lounge. Washer dryer with huge capacity and fully fitted kitchen with large dishwasher.

Perfect for family get-togethers, golfing holidays, weddings and special occasions. Especially suited as a base for Highland cycling tours

Suburban and quiet... A friendly established neighbourhood with very large gardens. Impossible to find such a peaceful space with such easy access to Inverness and local amenities. Should your group wish to venture further afield, A 45 minute drive will take you to Aviemore and the Cairngorms and there are many golf courses and clubs to visit in the area for your golfing holiday requirements. Castle Stuart, host of the Scottish Open Golf, is just 30 minutes drive from the luxurious self catering home. Bogbain Adventure & Heritage Farm is 30min away, with the best skiing in the UK, cycling, hiking, kayaking, husky sledding and horse riding as well as spectacular Highland scenery. Also close by (~3 miles), is the famous battle field at Colloden with a visitor's centre, and Clava Cairns, the site of a fascinating prehistoric monument.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Susan (the owner) a message.

If Susan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
