Location description from owner

The Scotland region

Scotland is known for its beauty, but few places are as undiscovered as Moray in the north east of Scotland. Today, Moray is a holiday destination with a difference. No shortage of outdoor pursuits, historical trails, good food and entertainment all makes this county one of Scotland's best - kept secrets.
Moray's glens hold centuries of history. There's more distilleries here than any other part of Scotland. No wonder this is called the whisky county.

Elgin

Elgin is the county town of Moray and is famous for its cathedral. Closeby is the Moray firth where you can watch the dolphins.
1 hours drive away is Aviemore, situated in the Cairngorm National Park.

“Terrific place to stay and people would recommend to anyone”

Reviewed 1 May 2015

Myself, my new husband and two dogs stayed here for a week in April. The cabin was excellent everything we expected and Sheila and Sandy were great hosts. The hot tub just topped off what was a wonderful week along with the great weather! Would recommend this to anyone looking to escape for a relaxing week! We have already booked to return next April

Owner's reply: We were delighted that you travelled up to get married and spend your honeymoon in the cabin. It was a pleasure meeting you and we look forward to seeing you again next year. Sandy and Sheila

“Relaxing break away from it all”

Excellent location for peace & quiet and exploring the surrounding areas. Hotub was the draw to this property. Owners very friendly & welcoming.

Owner's reply: We are glad that you found the kestrel so relaxing and that the hot tub was an added bonus. Hopefully we will maybe see you again soon. Thanks for your kind comments. Sandy and Sheila
