This superb, detached cottage is in the village of Sandbach near to Congleton in Cheshire and can sleep two people in one bedroom.Chequer Stable is a superb detached cottage in the village of Sandbach near to Congleton in Cheshire. The cottage can sleep two people in a mezzanine double bedroom as well as a ground floor bathroom. The cottage also contains an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed patio with furniture and BBQ. Chequer Stable is ideally located for visiting lots of different areas to enjoy.

Amenities: Electric underfloor heating with electric panel radiator, electric plinth heater and woodburning stove. Electric 2-ring ceramic hob, combi microwave/oven, fridge with ice box, TV with Netflix, Disney + and Amazon Prime, CD/radio, WiFi. Fuel, power and all fuel for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars on shared driveway. Bike storage on request. Enclosed patio with furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 3 miles, pub 12 mins walk (some walking along road, narrow pavement). Note: Cottage is next to a smallholding with cockerels, ducks and geese, which can be noisy in the early morning and when feeding. Note: Some road noise may be heard outside at peak times of the day. Note: An optional privacy screen is available for the mezzanine balcony. Note: Children over the age of 10 or babes-in-arms only. Please note: owner can offer use of her washer/dryer for bookings of longer than a week.

Region: The North West of England has something for every discerning traveller. Whether it is the fabulous sandy beaches of its famous seaside resorts or the historic backdrop of some of the country's oldest cities, it has something for everyone.

Town: Sandbach is a large historic market town in Cheshire and dating back to Saxon times with its famous Saxon Crosses still visible in the cobbled square. The town offers plenty of interesting shops with many pubs and restaurants to visit. The Brereton Heath Nature Reserve is a place to visit with some lovely walks and some interesting wood sculptures to observe. Also there is Wheelock Hall Farm and for something a little different you can visit St Mary's Church, a Grade II listed building with some beautiful stained glass windows as well as the church yard which is a magical place to explore.

Just spent 4 days here...what a beautiful little place...loved everything about it..so comfortable and warm..under floor heating..log burner..the attention to detail was amazing..highly recommended
