Near the World Heritage Jurassic Coastline and in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty we are within 2 miles of the beach.

There is so much to do including the long beach at Seaton and its many attractions, including cliff walks, golf, fishing and its famous Colyford Tramway, which is only 5 minutes away!

Neighbouring Beer is a quaint coastal village which has its historic Caves and Pecorama with its Model Railway. Farway Countryside Park has a plethora of animals and playthings to amuse the children. The nearby popular seaside resorts of Sidmouth and Lyme Regis are just minutes away in opposite directions and need no introduction !

Our rental properties, which are listed in the Doomsday Book of 1086, offer views of green fields and the freedom of tranquil woodland walks, farm tours, nature trails and picnic sites where you could encounter farm animals such as ewes and their lambs peacefully munching grass, or even Nobby our fully grown 7 feet tall ostriche - the World's largest flightless birds - who may even entertain you with his crazy mating dance in full view of our luxury holiday rentals !!

“The perfect escape to the country”

Whitwell Farm is one of our favourite places to visit on the south coast and we’ve been returning on a regular basis for several years. We’ve stayed in most of the properties and have always been impressed by their comfort and character. The location is always so peaceful that we just ‘switch off’ completely and savour the surroundings. When the weather is fine we can sit on the private decked area and look out over the surrounding fields with the Seaton tramline in the distance, and when it’s raining we can equally enjoy staying inside with the logburner and jacuzzi! There is no noise at night other than the occasional owl. The village pubs and shop are a pleasant stroll down the lane, and the farm is within easy travelling distance of the nearby towns of Lyme Regis and Sidmouth with all of their shops. The farm owners are very friendly and leave us to enjoy our time there – we’ll definitely be returning again soon! Even a short break can feel like a week...
