“Perfect get together house”

Reviewed 9 Nov 2017

The location in All Stretton with views out to Caer Caradoc is just perfect. If you need time to relax and enjoy the company of others then this is the place for you. The layout of the house is just perfect whether the centre of conversation is in the kitchen diner or relaxing in front of the log burner in the main lounge. Out and about there are pubs in Church Stretton, and plenty of challenging walks which the dogs loved. I would definitely recommend this house. We enjoyed ourselves and so did the dogs.

“Perfect location for the best hen”

Reviewed 26 Sep 2017

Sara and Mark literally couldn't have done more for us. From sending us all the recommendations for the local area (anything from nude life drawing to local knowledge), they really went over and beyond to make sure we settled in ok and that we had all the help organising everything before we arrived. The house was perfect for the girly hen that we had planned. All bedrooms are ensuite which is perfect for a group of girls and the open plan living style was great for dinner parties and socialising. Thanks so much for having us and being so understanding of a noisy, excitable group of girls!

“Very comfortable House well equiped except that the showers in the 3 bedrooms which had no showers were small”

Reviewed 17 Sep 2017

Splendid House in beautiful countryside Excellent service from Sara and Mark\ Would have given an excellent mark if the showers in the3 Bedrooms with no bath had been less cramped

Owner's reply: Thanks for coming to stay at Clearviews, it was lovely to meet you all and hope to welcome you again soon. For the benefit of others reading the review, bedrooms 1 & 2 have baths with showers, bedroom 3 has a large 1200mm x 700mm shower, while bedrooms 4 & 5 have more traditional square showers in the en-suites, please do take a look at the floor plans. In addition guests are welcome to come and take a look around Clearviews prior to staying (as this party did 6 months prior and we were pleased to accommodate some specific requests) - feel free to call or text any time.

“High quality accommodation in peaceful setting”

Reviewed 11 Aug 2017

We very much enjoyed our 4 night stay at Clearveiws as a group of 4 families. The property is of a very high standard, with comfy king size beds, black out blinds and the layout of the bedrooms up stairs makes it feel very spacious. The hot tub was a nice treat and was easy to open and operate, we didn't get a chance to use the outside seating or BBQ as the weather was not very good. The garden offer lots of space for kids to run around and we didn't hear any traffic noise in the house, the area was just so peaceful with amazing views. We did a walk from the property along the surrounding hills, visited the local swimming pool, drove up onto the Long Mynd and went to Carding Valley. There is so much to do in the area and Church Stretton is about a 15 minute walk away with lots of nice shops and a few pubs to visit. We would highly recommend Clearviews and hope to return in the future.

“Elegant house in the most beautiful surroundings”

Reviewed 29 Jul 2017

We had a very comfortable week at Clearviews. It is a lovely property with longranging views over the Shropshire countryside. The house easily accommodates a large party. The terrace and hot tub were a particular hit.

“Walkers”

Reviewed 13 Jun 2017

Our group of walkers found this house to be as well presented and equipped as any we have stayed in . A great location, and lovely views from all rooms. The kitchen is very well equipped, the dining table and sitting room comfortably take a full house. We'll be back.

“Fantastic hen weekend”

Reviewed 24 May 2017

What a fantastic house, well equipped for large groups with every piece of crockery and utensils you can imagine. Super comfy beds and all rooms with an en suite which makes a big difference for a group of women! Sara and Mark were excellent hosts, staying in regular contact and sorting out a small issue with the WiFi when we couldn't connect. The hot tub was gorgeous and the views over the Shropshire Hills stunning. We had an amazing meal at Housmans in the village and afternoon tea delivered on Saturday by the very accommodating van doosburgs deli. A brilliant weekend and we hope to return at some point to explore the area a bit more.

“Fabulous! Ideal for large family reunion”

Reviewed 29 Apr 2017

Clearviews was the perfect location for a family gathering. Nine adults and 4 children stayed here for 5 nights over Easter weekend. It was a wonderful retreat to spend some valuable family time together and to celebrate my parents 40th wedding anniversary. The children, 4 boys between ages of 2 and 6 had a fabulous time playing hide and seek and doing a Easter egg hunt around the house and garden. They really enjoyed sleeping in their bunk beds. One of them exclaimed the house was the best bit of their holiday! It was an ideal location for a day trip to Thomas land at Drayton manor and the aquarium in Chester. There is a fabulous Victorian working farm 11 miles away which was enjoyed by both adults and children. Mickey Millers family play barn was a great way to burn off some energy in the evening, so much so, we visited it twice. The hot tub was an ideal way for us adults to relax in the evening. The house was equipped with everything that we needed. The two dishwashers and fridges was ideal for a large group. We had a wonderful time and created memories to cherish forever. Thanks Sara and all at Clearviews.

“Perfect property for a big family gathering”

Reviewed 11 Apr 2017

I booked Clearviews for my husband's 70th birthday celebration and our party of 13 also included 5 small children. Sara and Mark, the owners are delightful and couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. The house is superb. It is very comfortable, stylish and excellently equipped, ( even 2 dishwashers and 2 enormous fridges plus gadgets galore). The photographs give a true impression of each room but you need to look at the floorplan to appreciate how the spaces flow with separate areas to suit all. We had two gloriously hot sunny days and I would have happily spent my time on the decked area watching the lambs in the endless meadows or spotting the birds flying above. I hesitate to use the overused words, 'stunning' or 'awesome' but in this case they are totally appropriate for the view from Clearviews. However, my time in the hot tub could not last for ever because there is so much to do in the area. The heritage steam train at Bridgnorth was a must on the Saturday and a stone's throw away is Carding Mill Valley(NT) catering for the mountain bikers, orienteers, walkers and paddlers in our party.

“Wonderful week away”

Reviewed 8 Apr 2017

We had a very enjoyable week away with friends in March. Sara was so helpful with suggestions for activities suitable for the young children in our group and the house was stunning. The hot tub was a real luxury to enjoy once the children were in bed! This is the second time we have stayed in the property and will certainly be back in the future. Thoroughly recommend this house as well as the surrounding area - there is something for everyone.
