Very Good

“Wow, what a fantastic property”

Reviewed 25 Sep 2018

There were 12 of us that stayed at Clearviews on 21st, 22nd & 23rd September... Our ages ranged from 3 to 80 years of age... The property was extremely well laid out, lovely, spacious garden to the front and the main attraction “The Hot Tub”... The hot tub was well used by all that stayed. When it got a bit cooler in the evenings we threw a couple of logs on the fire and soon warmed up. The views from all of the bedroom windows were amazing. Sara and Mark should be very proud with what they have created. We all hope it’s well rented in the future. Oh, the property is situated very near to quite a few lovely restaurants/pubs... Hopefully we will visit again.

“Highly recommended this beautiful cottage and beautiful location.”

We stayed to celebrate my husbands 80th Birthday. The whole family had a fabulous time. We had an enjoyable day out, a trip on a steam train at the Welshpool railway. The following day the family went to the trampoline centre Shrewsbury. The evening before we came home we had a lovely meal at the Housman restaurant in Church Stratton. All the family enjoyed the break and my husband loved it.

“Perfect Retreat”

Reviewed 11 Sep 2018

This was booked as a surprise 80th birthday treat for my husband. Our whole family, twelve of us, six and six children ranging from seven to seventeen had a fantastic three nights at “Clearviews “. Beautiful house in beautiful location . Despite weather not being perfect it didn’t spoil our stay. To stand at a kitchen sink with that view was awesome! House equipped beyond expectations including, wood burners and hot tub, both of which were made full use of. All in all, a perfect retreat! made more so by the warm and friendly welcome from Sara and Mark. Definitely a place to revisit.

“Very enjoyable family holiday.”

A lovely house which comfortably accommodated 14 members of my family. The hot tub was a bonus! Beautiful countryside to explore and interesting towns to visit.

“Hen party weekend”

Reviewed 25 Feb 2018

Just arrived back from a amazing few days at clearviews for a lovely relaxing hen party retreat. The photos online do not do this house justice. We arrived and we were blown away by the house and its surroundings! Every inch of this house is beautiful and everything has been thought of ! The huge table in the dining room is the highlight of the whole house perfect for a large group. The views from all over the house were stunning and luckily we had good weather so the hot tub was perfect for an afternoon relax. I would definitely book this home again for a retreat away or a family together as the amount of space and the bedrooms are perfect !! We are so happy to have found this house for our special family get together and meeting Sara the owner was lovely. Both Sara and Mark were very helpful and easily contactable by call or text helping us out with tips around the house and making us laugh with stories! Thank you so much for having us !

“Perfect get together house”

The location in All Stretton with views out to Caer Caradoc is just perfect. If you need time to relax and enjoy the company of others then this is the place for you. The layout of the house is just perfect whether the centre of conversation is in the kitchen diner or relaxing in front of the log burner in the main lounge. Out and about there are pubs in Church Stretton, and plenty of challenging walks which the dogs loved. I would definitely recommend this house. We enjoyed ourselves and so did the dogs.

“Perfect location for the best hen”

Reviewed 26 Sep 2017

Sara and Mark literally couldn't have done more for us. From sending us all the recommendations for the local area (anything from nude life drawing to local knowledge), they really went over and beyond to make sure we settled in ok and that we had all the help organising everything before we arrived. The house was perfect for the girly hen that we had planned. All bedrooms are ensuite which is perfect for a group of girls and the open plan living style was great for dinner parties and socialising. Thanks so much for having us and being so understanding of a noisy, excitable group of girls!

“Very comfortable House well equiped except that the showers in the 3 bedrooms which had no showers were small”

Reviewed 17 Sep 2017

Splendid House in beautiful countryside Excellent service from Sara and Mark\ Would have given an excellent mark if the showers in the3 Bedrooms with no bath had been less cramped

Owner's reply: Thanks for coming to stay at Clearviews, it was lovely to meet you all and hope to welcome you again soon. For the benefit of others reading the review, bedrooms 1 & 2 have baths with showers, bedroom 3 has a large 1200mm x 700mm shower, while bedrooms 4 & 5 have more traditional square showers in the en-suites, please do take a look at the floor plans. In addition guests are welcome to come and take a look around Clearviews prior to staying (as this party did 6 months prior and we were pleased to accommodate some specific requests) - feel free to call or text any time.

“High quality accommodation in peaceful setting”

Reviewed 11 Aug 2017

We very much enjoyed our 4 night stay at Clearveiws as a group of 4 families. The property is of a very high standard, with comfy king size beds, black out blinds and the layout of the bedrooms up stairs makes it feel very spacious. The hot tub was a nice treat and was easy to open and operate, we didn't get a chance to use the outside seating or BBQ as the weather was not very good. The garden offer lots of space for kids to run around and we didn't hear any traffic noise in the house, the area was just so peaceful with amazing views. We did a walk from the property along the surrounding hills, visited the local swimming pool, drove up onto the Long Mynd and went to Carding Valley. There is so much to do in the area and Church Stretton is about a 15 minute walk away with lots of nice shops and a few pubs to visit. We would highly recommend Clearviews and hope to return in the future.

“Elegant house in the most beautiful surroundings”

Reviewed 29 Jul 2017

We had a very comfortable week at Clearviews. It is a lovely property with longranging views over the Shropshire countryside. The house easily accommodates a large party. The terrace and hot tub were a particular hit.
