“perefect holiday cottage” The cottage is of one the most luxurious and tasteful cottages we have ever stayed in. Whilst maintaining many of the original features it has every modern convenience ( under floor heating, 'wet room' , superb kitchen etc etc. And one of the most beautiful, secluded and sunny terraced gardens i have seen. Peaceful but central location within walking distance of everything that Ludlow has to offer.
“Excellent accomodation , well presented and comfortable” Quiet weekend away with friends in a house that could not have been better. Clean, warm , superb beds, everything fort a perfect stay. Location is at the lower end of town so there's an up hill walk to the town centre so not for the infirm of wind or limb without a car. Other than that a perfect stay away location, lots to see and do.
“Wonderful house and gardens” We spend a wonderful week in the Ludlow Manor House. The house was very comfortable with plenty of room for our party of six adults and two children and we were warmly welcomed by the house manager, Emma and her husband. The well equipped kitchen meant we were able to take full advantage of Ludlow's fantastic food shops (the local Mortimer Forest venison is highly recommended!). But what really made the house so special for us was the outside space - beautifully maintained gardens, a well equipped play area for the kids and an addictive little golf course that persuaded even the total beginners in our party to swing a golf club.

What to Do
You must visit Ludlow Castle. It's in the centre of town and is a popular family attraction. Climb spiral staircases, see re-enactments of famous battles and discover everything you can about the history of this town.
For a great day out with the kids, head to Acton Scott Historic Working Farm. The staff do talks and teach you about the farm as they carry out their work – they might even get you to help bottle-feed the lambs if you're lucky! There's also a petting zoo that you can visit during your stay.

Ludlow Manor House
A truely amazing place for a family celebration
We stayed at the Manor House to celebrate my partners 60th Birthday and had the entire close family along to help with festivities. The party had a wide spread range of ages from 9 months to 61 years old and all of us without exception had a truely great and memorable experience by fully utilising the facilities on offer in the immaculate grounds and stunning house.
The Manor House is a magical place where memories are made.
Thanks go to Emma & Chris for attending to our every need without ever being intrusive.

Period town house with delightful secluded garden
Beautiful period cottage
Booked for my husbands birthday and took 2 teenage daughters and their boyfriends. Cottage was very homely, clean and well equipped. It’s central location was close to the river and many eating places. Beautiful buildings surround the lovely cottage and Ludlow was steeped in history.
It snowed so the castle didn’t open and in Jan it only opens weekends anyway so that was a shame. Most of the shops don’t open on Sunday either so we had a quick dash around on Monday before we left. …

2 bed cottage with private courtyard in the historic centre of Ludlow
Lovely little oasis
Situated in the heart of Ludlow, this superbly presented cottage is set at the end of a little lane ensuring a quiet peaceful break. It is clear the owners have put a lot of thought into furnishing and equipping the cottage as I cannot remember anything that we felt was missing. Very comfortable and very warm; especially with 8" of snow when we woke up on Sunday! I would highly recommend this as a great place to explore the area from. There was more than enough for two couples and it was lovely being able to walk everywhere in minutes. One proviso, there is very little parking close by but with a car park 3 minutes walk away and the train station only 5 minutes, this should not present anyone with a problem as long as they think ahead. …
10 Camp Lane
A lovely warm cosy cottage, despite heavy snow while we were there. It is very well finished and equipped with everything you need. It also has a nice garden weather permitting. We had a really relaxing comfortable weekend. It is only a few minutes walk from the town centre with all its shops, pubs and restaurants. We hope to visit again soon, perhaps when it is not snowing. …
