“lovely cottage very well equipped and perfectly situated” Very nice holiday cottage which was extremely well equipped. As a family of four adults we stayed here over the Christmas period. It is in an ideal location for exploring Ludlow and the surrounding area, only a couple of minutes walk to local shops etc.
“Relaxing, chilled weekend retreat” A Lovely, well maintained character property with all the facilities required for a relaxing, comfortable weekend break. Close to all amenities in Ludlow town centre but tucked away in a nice quiet back street close to walks in the countryside. Perfect.
“A truely amazing place for a family celebration” We stayed at the Manor House to celebrate my partners 60th Birthday and had the entire close family along to help with festivities. The party had a wide spread range of ages from 9 months to 61 years old and all of us without exception had a truely great and memorable experience by fully utilising the facilities on offer in the immaculate grounds and stunning house.
The Manor House is a magical place where memories are made.
Thanks go to Emma & Chris for attending to our every need without ever being intrusive.

What to Do
You must visit Ludlow Castle. It's in the centre of town and is a popular family attraction. Climb spiral staircases, see re-enactments of famous battles and discover everything you can about the history of this town.
For a great day out with the kids, head to Acton Scott Historic Working Farm. The staff do talks and teach you about the farm as they carry out their work – they might even get you to help bottle-feed the lambs if you're lucky! There's also a petting zoo that you can visit during your stay.

Ludlow Manor House
A relaxed holiday with a bit of class.
Yes, once again we had a super family holiday, enjoyed by all generations at The Manor House. Having roots in Shropshire, it is always nice to return and there is no better place we have found, than this lovely country let near Ludlow. The facilities and space suits us all very well, although we will need more golf balls next visit. This super property allows you to relax, if you wish, or have fun, if you wish, because it gives you the space to do so. This classy let suits us well.
A comment would not be complete without a thanks to the lovely manager, Emma who was always on hand should we need her help. …

16th century cottage in a quiet, central location in Ludlow, with a sunny garden
We booked last minute due to being let down by our original booking. We are so glad we were let down. Stephanie couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. The property is a gem, a perfect mix of old charm and modern facilities, very recently refurbished. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need, including lovely comfy beds and fluffy towels.
Ludlow itself is a lovely charming town. Loved the market, the shops and the old pubs. Full of character. Something for everyone.
All in all a perfect weekend away. If you’re considering booking, do it, you won’t be disappointed. …
Church House Barn Ludlow
Relaxing Break in a stunning barn!
We were 4 friends visiting Ludlow for the Food Festival and were delighted to have found Church House Barn for 3 nights. The barn is extremely comfortable, very well equipped, beautifully decorated and Chris, the owner, was friendly and prompt in responding to any queries we had prior to our arrival. The location is tranquil and we all felt very relaxed - to the extent we'd booked a restaurant in Ludlow for one evening but cancelled and chose to stay in instead! We can thoroughly recommend Church House Barn and would love to return. …
