We ask that there should be no loud noise be it from voices or music outside after 10pm, so as not to disturb other residents who wish to be quiet. If you are using the hot tub, be aware that noise travels in the still of the night, so please respect other guests who are here for a peaceful break away from it all!

This is not a party site, it is for persons wishing to enjoy the stillness and beauty of the countryside.

Location description from owner

The England region

Somerset is a very mellow county with stunning scenery and plenty of attractions. It is renowned for Cheddar Cheese and Somerset Cider.
From mystical Glastonbury Tor, historical Wells, and Dunster Castle. Manor houses such as Tyntesfield, Montacute House or Barrington Court - to a day's discovery at The Fleet Air Arm Museum, Helicopter Museum or adventure at Cheddar Caves and Wookey Hole, there is lots to see and do in Somerset.

There are also many National Trust and English Heritage properties in Somerset, as well as some famous 'natural attractions' such as Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury Tor and Exmoor National Park.

Cheddar

We are close to the famous Cheddar Gorge and caves; Longleat Safari Park, Wells, the smallest city in England with a famous cathedral; Glastonbury the birth place of Christianity in Britain; National trust properties and gardens, Stonehenge and Exmoor.

Discover the wonders of the past:; For one of the best exampls of Elizabethan architecture and one of the most beautiful stately homes open to the public a visit to Longleat House is a must.

Travel back in time to the 12th century with a visit to the Roman Baths, the best preserved Roman religious spa from the ancient world.

200 years of tourists couldn't be wrong so a visit to Cheddar Gorge with its cathedral-like caves and Britains biggest gorge featuring million-year-old Ice Age river beds could never disappoint.

As one of the most important historical landmarks int he world, Stonehenge is a must see.. How was it built? Why was it built? Find out by making your own pigrimage to this amazing place.

“Fantastic, rural location. Beautiful, luxurious log cabin. Short drive from Bristol airport. Perfect!”

Reviewed 20 Jan 2014

My partner and myself really enjoyed our stay. We had a mini break and we wanted to be near Bristol, it was a mere 25 minute drive from the airport. The cabin had everything we needed and more, including a hot tub to relax in the evenings. Recommended!
