Tucked behind Cheadle's charming Georgian High St. Hidden Cottage offers secluded and spacious self catering accommodation for couples wanting peace and quiet as well as all the town's amenities seconds from the doorstep. The cottage is ideal for short spring and summer breaks mid week or weekends. Reserved free parking nearby, self check in. Alton Towers is a 15 minute drive as well as easy access to the Peak District ,The Potteries and Uttoxeter Racecourse.

The accommodation at Hidden Cottage consists of a large comfortable living room with Satellite TV 32'' flat screen television, French doors lead to a lovely private terraced courtyard ( a sun trap ) for you to use, perfect for outdoor dining. Eight steps down to the entrance. One step down to the kitchen and a step up to the bedroom with king size bed and en suite bathroom with a large shower. Key safe system in operation for self check in. Parking is over the road.

NB. Hidden Cottage is not suitable for children or babies and it has been designed as spacious and luxury self catering accommodation for two people only. Free parking is a short distance away approximately 60 yards. Sorry No Pets.

Walk around the Market Town of Cheadle Staffordshire and discover " Pugin's gem" St Giles Church designed and built by Augustin Pugin who is famous for designing the Houses of Parliament.Visit the the Victorian indoor market. Supermarkets,shops and pubs all within walking distance. Lovely coffee shops and Craft and Vintage Stores are just a short stroll from the door.

Interaction with guest

The cottage operates on a key safe system. You will have the facilities all to yourself so you can come and go as you please. I will not disturb you. However, I am just on the other end of the phone if you need me.

“Great cottage”

Beautiful cottage located down a little alley way so really nice and quiet location however right on the high street so close to shops, bars and takeaways. Everything you need for a short stay can be found in the cottage I.e all kitchen utensils, pots pans etc and little shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. Lots of cleaning products are left for guests to use at their own leisure which is really great especially during current times. The bed was also really comfy and had extra blankets just incase! The outside area was lovely too and again so private. Cottage was generally clean only one or two little things, there was quite a few cobwebs and dusty parts on the bedroom ceiling hanging above the bed and the light shade in the bedroom ceiling was covered in cobwebs too. We also couldn’t get the fireplace to work maybe leaving an instruction card would be great. Overall really great stay and would defiantly stay here again. Perfect for a few days away. Joanne was also so helpful and responded quick to any questions etc. Thank you

The owners have made this superb house into a georgous home. It is finished in high quality furniture and a well stocked kitchen. (A vast amount of plates, cups and cutlery.) Our stay was to visit Alton Towers for the big yearly reunion for Alopecia UK. The distance to the park was perfect and very easy to get to. There us nothing I can say that's negative.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Joanne (the owner) a message.

If Joanne (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
