Luxury Triplex Apartment

This is a stunning, spacious, two bedroom ground floor split-level sea-side apartment set over three floors with it's own south facing large private sun terrace and direct access to the building's own private gym and games room with a pool table.

Set in the landmark Grade 2 Listed, former 5 star Victorian Hotel building of Burlington Mansions, it was built in the 1850s and has been converted into apartments, which retain a number of the original features including the foyer and main entrance.

Located midway between Bournemouth and Southbourne/Christchurch the building is a few minutes walk from the Blue Flag sandy beaches and Boscombe Pier (0.3 miles) and within metres of trendy cafes and bars. There is a regular street market nearby and the hustle and bustle of Bournemouth Town Centre is a couple of kilometres away.

Benefitting from brand new beds and mattresses, one bedroom has a kingsize bed and the other of similar size has two single beds which can be made into a super king on request. Both bedrooms have large built-in wardrobes and ensuites. Free wifi is available at this apartment.

Fitted to a high standard with newly fitted carpets throughout (June 2017) this self catering holiday let offers a real home from home experience. There is a lounge with a reclining corner sofa and a 40" Freeview LCD TV with DVD player, and a well equipped, modern and sociable kitchen diner which has a 6 seater glass dining table.

The private terrace has a rattan dining table with 6 chairs, 2 sun loungers and a gas BBQ.

All bookings are inclusive of linen and towels for guests and include a kitchen essentials welcome pack. There is an allocated parking space at the main building entrance and there is a bike lock area within the grounds.

The Dorset region

The apartment is in a great location - wake up and sit on the sun terrace enjoying the sunshine and fresh sea air, Boscombe pier is approx 5 min walk away (0.3 miles away). Around the pier you have level access to the sandy beach, great places to eat and a surf shop. From the pier you can walk along the sea front towards Bournemouth (approx 2.5 km/2 miles) or catch the land-train which runs daily during holiday seasons and most weekends throughout the winter. From the pier you can also access Boscombe Chine Gardens which has a children's play area, a cafe, mini-golf and beautifully kept gardens.

A short walk away from the beach you can easily access Boscombe town which has shopping facilities including supermarkets and weekly markets on Thursday/Saturday. The area also has a number of antique, craft and vintage shops - in Boscombe and neighbouring Pokesdown. There are lots of cafes, bars and restaurants near to the apartment, we can send you our recommendations! The Bournemouth O2 Academy is also just round the corner only (0.3 miles away) with it's live entertainment throughout the year.

Bournemouth town centre has lovely gardens running through the town centre, making it a very green and pleasant environment. The town centre has lots of bars restaurants and shopping facilities. There is also a cinema and theatre/shows at Pavillion Theatre & Bournemouth International Centre, as well as ice skating, swimming, indoor rock climbing and of course the Oceanarium.


Surrounding Bournemouth there are a number of attractions in local towns or enjoying the water or countryside. Below is a small selection....

- Christchurch - small town with famous Priory. Set upon the river with rowing boats/small motor boats to hire

- New Forest a short drive or train ride - walking, riding, cycling

- Beaches - sandy beach on your doorstep, further afield Hengistbury Head nature reserve, Sandbanks (Poole), Studland National Trust natural beach

- Brownsea island National Trust owned island with red squirrels - short boat trip from Poole Quay

- RSPB nature reserve Arne - on shore of Poole Harbour

- Purbecks - walking Jurassic Coast, approx 1hr drive (travel via chain ferry at Sandbanks)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, This is a beautiful, spotlessly clean, fully equipped apartment in a quiet location. The beds are extremely comfortable, rooms are light and airy with plenty of storage space. The patio is great for morning coffee or al fresco dining. We had a couple of rainy mornings but the children were more than happy with a selection of dvds, board games and pool. The beach, shops and restaurants are all within easy walking distance and a land train runs regularly from Boscombe Pier to Bournemouth and Southbourne so driving really isn't necessary. All in all a wonderful apartment in an ideal location made this the perfect stress free holiday. We will be back, Thank you Jo.

“A stunning apartment in a beautiful location”

We were lucky enough to see in the New year at this modern, comfortable apartment. Having never been to Bournemouth or Boscombe before, we were utterly amazed at the stunning location. Even in December we spent our days on the gorgeous beach flying kites or taking the train along the coast. The photos of the apartment don't do it justice- it's much bigger in real life. From the breath-taking victorian entrance hall to the unique, stylish apartment to the beautiful coastline- I would highly recommend a stay and we will be back soon.

My husband, our two young children and I stayed in this apartment for a week. It's in a great location, just a stones throw from the beach, and there was plenty to do nearby on both the sunny days and rainy days we had. The apartment itself is very well maintained and has everything you need. My husband loved just popping through the door into the gym before we enjoyed a nice glass of wine on the terrace of an evening! We're already planning another weekend there to make the most of the Christmas events the area has to offer.

“Beautiful property, great location”

My wife and I spent a lovely weekend staying at this apartment. We didn't have to use our car at all, we walked almost everywhere or used the tourist train. The outside terrace is a real benefit for this place, we enjoyed meals outside and relaxed on the sunbeds through the day. We didn't use the gym but it's ideal for anyone into fitness as you can walk directly into the gym through a door in the bedroom. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Communication from the owner was great too. We'll definitely be returning :)

How do damage deposits work?
