Location description from owner

The England region

Dorset is a very popular holiday destination all year round. It offers beautiful rolling countryside and the Purbecks and New Forest close by.. Bournemouth with its award winning beaches has something for everyone and Southampton, Salisbury and Stonehenge are all within reasonable travelling distance. Christchurch is an interesting Priory Town with a picturesque quay. As well as Poole a large coastal town with seaport. Dorset features some excellent museums, with world leading centres at Bovington (The Tank Museum, telling the history of military vehicles), and the Russell Cotes Museum and Art Gallery in Bournemouth. Other museums include the Dorset County Museum in Dorchester, The Red House in Christchurch, the Royal Signals Museum at Blandford, and the award winning Brewers Quay in Weymouth. Many smaller towns have their own local museums.

Bournemouth

Bournemouth really does have something for everyone, We have so many great attractions. If you are adventurous we have Moors valley Go Ape programme where you can literally swing through the trees! The Moors Valley park is a great day out with forest walks, cycle rides, park and lakeside picnic facilities. There is also splashdown water park at the Tower Park complex in Poole. We have delightful walks in the famous Bournemouth and Boscombe Gardens as well as Compton Acres a gardeners delight. The Russell Cotes Museum is right on the cliff top giving panoramic views of the coastline. As well as the best beaches in the UK (some say possibly in Europe) Bournemouth has won many Blue Flag awards for its overall cleanliness. There are terrific views over the Purbeck Hills. During the summer months there is a fantastic free weekly display of fireworks You can take boat trips along the coast and visit Swanage, Brownsea Island and even the Isle of Wight. Bournemouth has excellent facilities for tourists young and old, whether you like night-life, restaurants or relaxation.

“Everything we needed”

Reviewed 3 Aug 2016

Becky and her team made us feel very welcome. Travelling solo with a toddler is never easy but they went out of their way to make us feel at home and nothing was ever too much trouble. The flat is in a great location - a very easy stroll in to town and there's also a nice walk down to Middle Chine beach. The flat itself was well appointed (good oven, microwave, washing machine etc), comfortable and quiet. The wifi was a bit hit and miss but they had a couple of options and you could generally find it somewhere in the flat. Parking was also very convenient. We stayed in the ground floor flat that backs on to the garden and it was very quiet apart from the occasional fire door slamming or people walking around in the flat above. There was no road noise to speak of. The garden itself was also a lovely place to sit in the sun (when it came out!) and a great place for young kids to run around.

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for your positive review. It was good to meet you and your family. I hope you had a good trip back. Hope you will consider us again when you are next in UK. (You will be pleased to know that the sun has finally decided to come out...)

“The apartment was very comfortable and as advertised by the owner (Becky) who provided good personal attention.”

Reviewed 19 Jul 2016

The apartment is well located and as advertised. We had 3 bedroom and 1 bathroom with living room and kitchen. This was good space for 4 adults and we had a very comfortable 2 weeks. The apartment is close to a bus route and some shops and restaurants that enable the purchase of essentials. It is within an easy walk to central Bournemouth. Becky provides personal management of the apartments and is very helpful and responsive to any queries. Would definitely stay there again.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your positive review. We are glad you all enjoyed your stay at Regency Court. We hope to see you again if you come to Bournemouth in the future.

“Home from Home....and a great location”

Stayed in the 2 Bed Apartment for a week. Very spacious, and all the mod-cons you need. Really good location, 2 mins walk to the Gardens, then an easy stroll into the centre. A few shops and restaurants just up the hill. Had a nice meal in the Italian. Overall, great value for money, will stay here again when in Bournemouth.

Owner's reply: Thank you for taking the time to review our apartment. Glad you enjoyed your time with us. We look forward to welcoming you again if you ever come to Bournemouth.

“Wonderful accomodation in a great location.”

We received a great welcome from Becky(the owner) and her family. Having shown us around our apartment we were asked if we needed help with our luggage etc. The apartment was very spacious and clean. There was also use of a large garden with plenty of seating. We hardly used the car(ample parking on site) as it was a pleasant 10 minutes stroll through the gardens to Bournemouth centre.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind review. Very glad you enjoyed your time at Regency Court We look forward to meeting you both again next year!

“warm welcome, nothing too much trouble....”

a warm and friendly greeting by Becki and family....we arrived earlier than specified check in time but this was not a problem. we were able to park up and unload our luggage before the room was ready which helped and were able to sit out in the beautiful, secure back garden which was invaluable having small children. becki was most helpful with local knowledge and a useful information guide was left for us on arrival. location was great, easy walking distance to the centre of Bournemouth either a scenic route through the park or a quicker way through the underpass.. very spacious 2 bed apartment with a further pull down double bed in the lounge. a proper home from home. we hope to see you another year and would highly recommend this accommodation to friends and family.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind review. So glad you enjoyed your stay and we look forward to welcoming you again in the future.

“A very good house 2-3 minutes to Gardens and 10-15 minutes to Square by walk.”

We stayed four weeks at Regency Court between 27th of June and 25th of July 2015. It was a nice experiements for me and my sons, Basar(16), Alp(12) and Ulas(9) to spend 4 weeks in Bournemouth for a language school and of cource Becky's house ! It was a lovely place & location with a very nice owner, BECKY ! We all family like her and her family. She was ready everytime to help us whatever we need about Bournemouth, with a smiling face. She has warm-blooded personality and gave us positive energy during our stay at Regency Court. My little son, Ulas had good time playing with her little son Jad(8) in the garden. She helped us to find a local primary school , 5-6 minutes walking distance to house, for Ulas who was not accepted by summer language schools because of under 11 year-old. One day she took my son Ulas to their family house by her car. Ulas'll never forget the time spent playing with Jad in their house and their lovely family. Thank you Becky for everyting !

Owner's reply: Thank you so much for your kind review. I am happy that you enjoyed your time in Bournemouth staying at Regency Court. It was lovely to meet you and your lovely family and we hope we will see you again in the future. Becky

“Happy with stay - will visit again”

Reviewed 24 Jul 2015

Very happy with the stay, so much so that we are hoping to visit again next year. Becky was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was nicely situated near the garden, helpful with young children. The furnishings were all nice and the property is located close enough to walk to the beach and nearby shops. No complaints.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your kind review. It was nice to meet you both and of course your son! Happy to hear you will consider visiting again. Becky

“wonderful holiday”

Reviewed 15 Jul 2015

My family stayed in a two bedroom flat which was bright and airy and spotlessly clean. The flat was in a great position and we were able park the car in the grounds and walk everywhere. There is a supermarket in the same road which was good for my father to buy his newspaper every day. There is a lovely garden available for guests with a patio and plenty of seating. The owners were there to meet us and were available throughout the week. I would recommend this place.

Owner's reply: Thank you for your review. I am glad you enjoyed walking everywhere, it really is a lovely walk to town through the gardens. Happy that your father was able to easily buy his newspaper every morning. Hope to see you again. Becky

“Lovely comfortable accommodation within walking distance of parks and beach”

Reviewed 2 Jul 2015

The flat we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. There was a large kitchen with big fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave and cooker. We didn't use the cooker because we ate out each day. The lounge was large with comfy chairs and settees and the bedrooms nice and airy with clean comfortable beds. The whole house is kept in a good state of repair. The owners met us on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. They were around during the week and we found them very friendly and helpful and gave us instructions on how to get to the parks and beach on foot. We had an upstairs flat but there were ground floor ones for anyone who has difficulties with stairs. There was a lovely grassed area at the back of the house with flower beds around, an area to sit and a washing line for your use. All in all we had a lovely week there and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place anyone.

Owner's reply: Thank you very much for your kind review. I am happy that you were pleased with the flat and managed to get out and about and enjoy your time in Bournemouth. Your comments were much appreciated. It was really nice to chat with you and your family and we hope to see you again if you decide to come to Bournemouth. Becky

“Fantastic location!”

Reviewed 5 Jan 2015

I stayed at regency court with work for a total of 7 weeks from July to early September in summer 2014 (moving between 3 different flats) and have nothing but positive thoughts about it. The location was superb! Easy walking distance into Bournemouth town and easy walking distance to multiple beaches. It was also just a short walk into Westbourne where there were plenty of lovely cafes and there's a co-op handily located up the road. We had quite a number of vehicles between us but found that between the good sized car park and nearby off-road parking that it wasn't a problem at all! The accommodation was more than basic - a great standard for self catering though. Each flat I stayed in had a good sized lounge area and a dining table in the kitchen. Kitchens were well equipped and clean, great water pressure in the showers and good sized bedrooms with plenty of storage. The bedding was changed weekly which was a pleasant surprise! Becky who looked after us was superb. We were coming and going and moving around but she was nothing but helpful. She really was fantastic and I would definitely stay here again.

Owner's reply: Thank you very much for your glowing review! It was a pleasure to have you stay at Regency Court and I am so happy that you enjoyed your time with us. We look forward to welcoming you again soon. Becky
