Lanjew Park has been rated 4* Gold by Visit England, and provides generous accommodation to entertain, socialise or just relax. Situated within the main farmstead on our 250 acre family run farm, just outside the village of Withiel (approx 5 miles west of the town of Bodmin). The house stands in its own grounds, with lots of outdoor space, down our peaceful drive with far reaching views of the countryside. You will be welcomed with our home-made cream teas and fresh flowers. The A30 is just 2 miles away, making the whole County very accessible.

An ideal place if you seek seclusion, where parents can relax and children play safely with no traffic worries. Surrounded by the countryside, sit in the garden and see the buzzards overhead, catch a glimpse of a squirrel amongst the trees, watch the cattle and sheep grazing in the nearby fields.

Relax to the soothing sounds of nature filtering around you, underscored by birdsong during the day, maybe catch sight of bats at dusk, or hear the distant call of foxes in the still of the night, and if you are lucky the hooting of owls. Finish off the day with a glass of wine watching the sun go down.

We have set ourselves high standards to help our guests enjoy their holiday. The tastefully furnished and decorated living rooms are on the first floor to gain advantage of the views.

UPSTAIRS:

The entrance to the property is by granite steps to the first floor leading to:

Open plan Kitchen and dining room - fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer/drier, microwave, kettle and toaster. You will also find kitchen utensils, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glasses. There is a breakfast bar area between the kitchen and dining area. The dining area has table and chairs. Juliet Balcony door over looking the garden and surrounding countryside.

DOWNSTAIRS:

Bedroom 1 - Kind bed, French doors leading to the garden, wash basin with shaver point, TV.

Bedroom 3 - one single bed and full size bunk beds.

Family bathroom - with bath, washbasin, full shower and W.C.

OUTSIDE:

Large gardens offer swings, sandpit, garden furniture and barbecue, ample parking.

We live on our farm just a short walk/drive further up the lane from Lanjew Park. It is still a working farm so we will very much be around and about, but will leave you to enjoy your holiday in peace. Guests are very welcome to find out more about the farm and what we are doing. We are happy to interact with guests as much or as little as you want us to!

Why can't I call Elaine (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Elaine (the owner) a message.

If Elaine (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
