“We love it”
We were the second time in the Byre...in 2016 for the third time. There ist enough room for 4 people, 3 bathrooms, great. Everything you need for cooking is in the cottage, also a large table for 4 persons. It is only 5 min. to Belper and less then 10 min. to Morrison´s. Great place for holiday :-)
Many thanks for your great review, we always aim to please! We look forward to seeing you again in 2016 Best Wishes Helen and Tony
“Excellent holiday base”
We stayed at the Byre from 3rd to 10th October and had a comfortable and relaxing stay. Helen and Tony are the owners and are a lovely, friendly couple. The Byre has Large room sizes and the larger bedroom had a super king size bed you could get lost in. Located within Waking distance to belper. The local pub - The Hanging gate, serves good food and real ale and is a short walk away. Good base for the Peak district with plenty of things to do and see, Bakewell is a gem. Belper is a historic mill town and has plenty of shops as well as a Morrisons at the far end of town. We certainly recommend the Byre for a holiday stay.
Thank you for your very kind comments, we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay in Derbyshire. We are also pleased you found The Byre comfortable Helen and Tony
“An enjoyable experience”
We have just returned from The Byre where we spent a relaxing and enjoyable week. My wife and I, together with my brother and his wife, found the house very clean and comfortable. Nice big sitting room and a well equipped kitchen.. On our arrival Helen and Tony came out to greet us. In the kitchen we found a plate of scones with jam and clotted cream ..and some fresh strawberries. Tea,sugar and a pint of milk were also provided. Helen and Tony were very kind throughout the week but never intrusive. They suggested various places where we could visit or have a meal. All in all it was an enjoyable experience. I'm very glad we chose to stay here.
Many thanks for this lovely review. We are so pleased that you had an enjoyable time in our cottage. Best wishes Helen and Tony
