Barn Owl Cottage is a superb 3 bedroom home perfect for a break at any time of year.
Upstairs there is a master bedroom with a king-size, four-poster bed and en-suite shower room, with it's own 32" LCD tv. There is also a comfortable single bedroom and a separate WC.
Downstairs you will find a fabulous fully fitted oak kitchen/dining room, which is well equipped with every facility you would expect, including an lcd tv. Wander into the lounge and a lovely stone fireplace, woodburner, 42" LED widescreen television, DVD, and CD Hi-Fi will greet you. There is also a beautiful twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom and overbath shower.
Fully fitted and furnished to an extremely high standard throughout, Barn Owl Cottage offers everything for discerning guests and has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 5 in complete comfort.

“Perfect farm stay close to everything”
What a hidden gem! We stayed for 10 days and could not have been more impressed by everything from the welcome to the facilities and cottage. We used the pool every day, played the games room, enjoyed looking round the farm and had a play in the playground when the weather allowed. Barn Owl Cottage was perfect for our needs, beautifully decorated, a typical farm cottage with a real home feel and we will definitely come again :)
Very lovely and cozy cottage to stay in. The amenities were nice and it had all the basics you would need. Perfect getaway. A home away from home.
“Fabulous week staying in Barn owl cottage!”
Have just returned from a fabulous weeks holiday on Combrew farm, staying in Barn owl cottage. The accommodation was everything we had hoped for and more! From arrival everything was perfect and so well thought out. Milk, biscuits and freshly laid eggs were such a lovely touch to start our holiday. Everything was clean and well maintained and the beds super comfy! A cot and high chair had been left out, as requested. Our 2 children loved the outdoor play area and enjoyed watching the goats whilst bouncing on the trampolines! We all loved the swimming pool, the best we've been in! Great location too. A couple of minutes drive from a large sainsburys and McDonald's. 10 minutes drive into the main town of Barnstaple for it's main shops and restaurants such as pizza express. Within 30 mins drive of the beautiful Woolacombe beach and we also visited Watermouth castle which was great! Overall a fantastic place to stay, can't rate Barn owl cottage (and Combrew farm) highly enough and have already recommended to friends. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Can't wait to stay again!!
“A great location with a warm and friendly welcome.”
The cottage was lovely, clean and well equipped. We stayed for a week whilst my elderly mother had her bathroom converted. The Barn Owl Cottage was perfect, with a bedroom and bathroom located on the ground floor, it was perfect and two bedrooms on the upper floor. The delightful swimming pool was an added bonus. Truly a delightful location and we would not hesitate to recommend.

This was a perfect cottage for the three of us. Giving us each a seperate comfortable bedroom and still large enough to enjoy the lounge and kitchen facilities. It was very clean with large patio doors opening onto a lovely garden. Perfect for our evening tipple before heading out for dinner. Swimming pool with sauna and games room was a bonus and we enjoyed using these. The cottage is perfectly placed so that we could enjoy all the local tourist haunts. Would highly recommend this to families and friends.
“Beautiful accommodation in a lovely setting with plenty to do for both young and old.”
We stayed at Combew Farm for a week in May, our party consisted of a near two year old, two 30 somethings and two grandparents. We all stayed together in the Barn Owl Cottage which was lovely. It was the perfect size for a family of five and had everything we needed for a trouble free, self catering week. The bed is probably the most comfortable I have ever stayed in away from home. The bedding is luxurious, to the point that we have taken details of their supplier to buy our own! The owners were there on greet us on our arrival and couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming if they tried. We had a mixed week with the weather and the heated, indoor pool was a heaven sent for our little boy (and us too!). The swings, rabbits, goats and cows on site kept him amused too. The location is good for getting around and seeing North Devon, there are numerous beaches near by and the big town of Barnstable is just down the road. There are pubs and shops that are within walking distance but probably not if you have small children. The lane you have to take into the farm is not suitable for pushing a buggy due to the cars you could meet on the way however, I'm sure a taxi could be arranged should you not wish to drive out. Although we didn't use it there is a very regular bus service on the main road. Overall I would definitely recommend Combrew Farm as a holiday destination for couples and families alike.

We cannot thank the family enough for their hospitality. The cottage is beautiful, with all home comforts and amenities. We had a very memorable first holiday with our 8 month old Grandson, he settled in extremely well. The location and cottages are highly recommended and we hope to return again in the future. We had such a lovely time. Comfortable and high standard accommodation, close to many things to see and do. We cycled and walked from the cottage, so easy, safe and brilliant views along the tarka trail. We would defiantly recommend a stay here, you will not be disappointed.

This was our third time at Combrew Farm in Bickington, North Devon and again it didn't disappoint. The Cottages are well equipped for a home from home holiday. Ideally located for all of North Devon's key attractions including the many beaches. Looking forward to our next stay.

Owners :- Friendly, obliging, and genuine dog lovers. Accommodation :- Just what we wanted, excellent, but not over the top. Area :- Glorious country and seaside. Weather :- 20th - 27th Sept 2014 was great. Holiday :- relaxing, enjoyed by all of us.
