This cottage is located in the village of Barnard Castle, near Staindrop, and can sleep two people in one bedroom.The Little Flat is a charming cottage situated in the village of Barnard Castle, County Durham. Hosting one super king-size bedroom (zip/link), and a shower room, this property can sleep up to two people. Inside you will also find an open-plan sitting, kitchen and dining area with electric fire. To the outside is permit parking, and a shared courtyard with furniture. Located in a lovely setting with an abundance of attractions to explore around the area, The Little Flat is a delightful retreat in a much desired part of England. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome.

The town is on the site of a Roman ford, which crosses the river, plus the medieval ruins of the castle and the cobble streets, yards, and back lanes are well worth seeing. From the town, there is excellent walking with The Pennine and Teesdale Ways, River Tees and the waterfalls at High Force all nearby.
