A ground floor apartment set in the town of Amble in Northumberland which can sleep three people in two bedrooms.Lower Driftwood is a ground floor apartment based in the town of Amble in Northumberland. It has two bedrooms including a double and a single room as well as a family bathroom, it can sleep three people. Also inside there is an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. To the outside there is off road parking for one car. Lower Driftwood is a stylish apartment in a great location to be enjoyed at any time of the year.

Amenities: Electric central heating. Electric oven and hob, fridge, washing machine, TV with Freeview, radio, WIFI, selection of books and games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 1 car. Sorry, no pets or smoking. Shop and pub 5 mins walk.

Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrians Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Town: The seaport of Amble is at the mouth of the River Coquet and is an ideal place for exploring Northumberland. Amble offers a marina, a harbour, beaches and coastal walks to Hauxley and Druridge Bay. Large fishing boats moor along the harbour wall and land fish, prawns, crabs and lobsters. There is a fish centre on the side of the harbour that is now a shell fish hatchery, this sells fish and is open to the public. A mile south of Amble is Coquet Island, an RSPB reserve with terns, puffins and ducks and boat trips around the island. Alnmouth and Craster and numerous beaches are only a short drive away, whilst Warkworth with its castle, charming Alnwick with its castle and award-winning gardens, and the National Trusts Wallington Hall and Cragside are all within easy reach.
