“A spectacular setting” We spent the best part of a week at Fort Augustus. It is a unique place and the views down Loch Ness are unrivalled. The flat was well furnished and comfortable. Everything you need is provided. All essentials can be bought in the shops in Fort Augustus. Those unsteady on their feet should note there are three flights of stairs to climb to get to the flat (no lift). The Boathouse restaurant in the grounds was very good. When we were there, building works were still going on on the site. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

“our perfect highland hideaway” this year has been our 5th time at loch ness hideaways,we've been at different times of the year and enjoyed each visit alex & Janet always have a warm welcome on arrival, the cottage has everything you could possibly need for your stay and a lot more .the welcome pack for us and for the dogs is very much appreciated,there are some lovely walks near- bye .this is a very tranquil place perfect to chill-out no matter what the scottish weather throws at you.welove the place and so do the dogs, we'll be back next year!
