    Unique Modern Hideaway
Delightful place in a great location

Very impressed by this flat, which is light and airy despite being at basement level - I was a little concerned that it might be claustrophobic, but that isn't the case. The location is great for the town - it's just out the door and a street away. Despite being so close, the apartment is very quiet. The owners are apparently new to holiday homes, so I was impressed to see they'd got a few nice touches, such as a welcome basket and tourist information. I've stayed in a few new places that haven't got onto this. Furnishings and linen is good quality. Only thing I think may need improvement is a slightly larger TV. It doesn't bother me, but I know some families like to relax with a DVD in the evening, so a few inches bigger might be preferred. We will certainly book again when visiting the area. see more
    Littlehampton Apartment
    Wonderful holiday flat in Littlehampton

This is the second time we have stayed in this apartment. We really like it. It is bright and clean and spacious, a really comfortable place to relax in when you come back from the beach or town centre. The owner Louisa is very helpful and friendly, and everything is provided, the kitchen has everything you need too, and if you have children there are even beach toys. Comfortable beds too. It is very close to the beach and a short walk from the town centre. Littlehampton is a small resort and a pleasant little town. There are entertainments for children near the river estuary, in the other the direction you can walk along by unspoilt beaches. The other side of the river is West Beach which is a nature reserve, good for birdwatching. (Climping beach is also good for this, also the Wildfowl and Wetland Centre at Arundel.) The town centre is small but pleasant shops, with cafes, pubs and restaurants, and there are supermarkets etc. If you fancy a day out shopping, bigger nearby towns have shopping centres. Then when you are tired, back to the flat to relax. Eating out: There are budget restaurants, fish and chip shops and a Harvester. If you want a treat there is the East Beach Cafe at the end of the road, or the Fish Factory in the town centre, and La Cucina in Rustington does lovely Italian food. Somehow I think we will be planning another visit before long... Keith and Angela see more
