“The setting is absolutely beautiful.” We spent a weekend in January in the Boathouse. The house itself is set right on the estuary in Kircudbright, making it difficult to tear your eyes away from the everchanging view from the window - the tide coming in and out, the fishing boats, the seabirds, the weather. The house is warm, clean and comfortable with good facilities and tasteful furnishings. The town centre, harbour and shops are very close.
