Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Wonderful family break” We had a wonderful family break on "Box of Delights". Everything was excellent from start to finish. We were all complete novices but had nothing to worry about. We were given all the guidance we needed to set off confidently including help with the first lock . The boat itself was beautifully presented and really spacious for a family of four. The welcome pack was a nice surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the Wey Navigation and part of the Thames. The countryside was beautiful and varied and we enjoyed mooring at pubs and different parts of the towpath to explore. It's hard to think what could be improved. Highly recommended.
“Comfortable, convenient, and affordable” I have stayed at Medlar House several times. It always feels like a home away from home. It is a pleasant place to stay, with a friendly proprietor. The location is very convenient, within a few minutes' walk of several shops and restaurants as well as the beautiful River Wey towpath. It is very close to Spectrum Leisure Centre and Stoke Park, and within easy reach of the Guildford town centre. The rooms are bright and clean and nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable, and it is quiet and peaceful, very relaxing. I enjoyed having breakfast in the dining room looking out at the blossoming trees in the back garden. And best of all, the rates are very affordable, so it is an excellent value.
“Just perfect! More than met our expectations” We were a group of 5 couples from Singapore, new Zealand, united states and the uk, meeting up for 3 days before a wedding at Great Fosters hotel. Gt Tangley with its history, character, beautiful dining room, and ample space was the perfect location for us to meet up and host a BBQ for 40 family and friends. Nicho met us and gave an informative tour including all the history which was lovely. The only criticism from our guests was the shower in the older part of the building, I did advise them before hand that only one room was ensuite but we all were accommodating of each other. Every one loved it, took walks round the grounds and didn't want to leave!
