“Fabulous” Easterleigh Cottage is fabulous. A comfortable, very well equipped Cotswold stone cottage in a charming village near Bourton on the Water. Our family went for a short break - primarily to enjoy some peace and quiet and quality time together with our new baby. The cottage had everything we needed. It was very convenient to have two bathrooms, plus an additional toilet/shower downstairs. The local pub serves very good food - we ate there once - but most of the time we ate happily at the cottage, which has a full range of cooking equipment etc., plus the facility to eat outdoors in fine weather. The cottage was clean throughout and felt like home. There are plenty of walks nearby and numerous villages and places to explore. The owners provide comprehensive information on how to use all the household equipment and they recommend several local walks and places to visit. Easterleigh provides a welcome break away from the hustle and bustle of city life but, with a car, is within easy reach of all facilities. The lack of any shop in the village was not a problem - we loved it and were sorry to leave. The owner responded to our initial enquiry very quickly and all communication with him and his local agent went without a hitch. We hope to return.
