Castle View Cottage
Lovely Cottage for all ages.

Booking was quick and easy. Jackie was welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. A small issue with the main shower was resolved very quickly, there are 3 bathrooms by the way. Everyone from my parents (both over 60) to the kids (3 & 6) loved the house. Decor was warm and homely. It's all on one level with large square rooms which was appreciated by my mother. My wife loved the big bath. The living room is cosy with a small selection of DVDs, board games and books. There are even more kids puzzles and games in the twin room. The TV has loads of channels and there's a hi fi as well. Wi fi signal is good throughout the property. Which is useful as being rural Fermanagh the mobile network coverage isn't great. The kids loved the out door space. Every room was spotlessly clean and having tea bags, jam, sugar, salt and pepper, dish washer tablets etc. etc. was just great. The cottage is located within a 15 minute walk of Irvinestown village centre but is very secluded in the grounds on Necarne Castle. There are loads of country walks right on the doorstep. My wife and I enjoyed these very much. Being really nit picky, I mean really nit picky, it's very difficult to see out of the drive, but you come out onto a road with a 15mph limit with little to no traffic. So this really is nothing to worry about. Also you cannot access the laundry room from inside the house only from outside. But how much laundry do you do on holiday? This is a lovely cottage, with a warm welcome, clean, large rooms surprisingly well equipped and we would stay here again.see more
