'Tyddyn Llan cottage 4* Tourist Board Graded.'
Picturesque, spacious cottage and garden in an idyllic location, snuggled in Snowdonia's hills and forests.

Nigel, Alison and Cassie (their gentle, friendly dog), have been so welcoming, helpful, unobtrusive and generous. We arrived to a vase of flowers, welsh tea cakes and big bowel of fruit. Everything is neat and clean. There was even milk in the fridge and also coffee, tea, salt and pepper other essentials in the cupboard until one was able to get in provisions. The games room is a bonus for rainy days. The Sky TV was great for viewing the olympics and the WIFI excellent for the computer. We had many barbecues in the lovely outside seating area where a gas barbecue is provided. There is a lot of lawn for children and dogs on which to play. The kitchen is small but everything is there, microwave, glass top cooker and oven. Absolutely every kind of kitchen utensil is also provided along with more than adequate crockery and cutlery. There is a fully equipped laundry room and enjoyable games room with books, pool, darts and table tennis. We enjoyed listening to CDs in the conservatory which is the best place in the cottage! We visited Rhos-on-Sea, Bodnant Gardens, Conwy, Betwys-y-Coed and the Fairy Glen. We drove around the Great Orme and all of these are highly recommended. It is best to arrive early in season to ensure parking in all locations. We went up Snowdon on the train. Book in advance and be warned that it is cramped but the views are spectacular. Friends around the world have followed our holiday on facebook and are amazed at the beauty of the area. There is a pub in the village which we haven't visited yet. It is closed Monday and Tuesday. In a nutshell, this cottage and location come highly recommended. see more
