“Outstanding !!” I booked Oaks retreat as a surprise for my wife on our 20th wedding anniversary. I had read the reviews and looked at the pictures and it looked fantastic but I have to say it is even better in reality. Sara and Mark have done an amazing job and the attention to detail is second to none. You have everything you could possibly need for a truly wonderful romantic holiday. We stayed for 3 nights 16th - 19th August and my only regret is we didn't stay longer. The village of Church Stetton is only a 5 minute walk away and Little Stretton approx 20 minutes away and both are lovely villages but some days all you want to do is sit in the, quite brilliant, hot tub and throw some coals on the firepit/bbq and simply relax. It feels like you really are in the middle of a forest or woods but you are literally 30 seconds away from Mark and Saras house where you will find them really friendly and helpful. They just leave you to enjoy the peace and tranquility but are there if you need them. The accomodation has everything you need including a fully equipped kitchen and an amazing rain shower. It has a lovely waterfall and stream that you can look and listen to from the really comfortable bed. It also has an evoke DAB radio which also lets you stream your music via bluetooth, perfect for just chilling out with a bottle or two of prosecco. There is a fire and TV but we didn't need to use them due to being outside all the time. I can honestly say we will be back to Oaks Retreat because it is one of the best breaks we have ever had and we cannot wait to go back. It was outstanding from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Thank you to the owners for creating perfection.

“Excellent in every department” Having arrived at the Larches we were met my by Margaret and Don (the stand in Landlords) who were extremely helpful in showing us to our new home for the next few days. We were handed the keys along with some helpful hints and tips on how to improve our stay in the lovely setting of Church Stretton. The accomodation was first class and i would have no problem in reccommending this holiday to anyone. Everyone who is involved in the Larches (especially Sara) has made our stay fantastic and we look forward to returning there in the near future.

“Brilliant for friends and family” Had a great stay with friends and family - 7 adults and 5 kids - all loved it. Very private and child friendly - the chef on the saturday night made it nice and relaxing too.
