“Excellent apartment with warm welcome” We had a great time in this lovely apartment. It was very well equipped with everything you could need. Karen (owner) very kindly left us fresh groceries plus extras which was a very nice touch. The location of the apartment is great about a five minute walk from the town centre. Quiet area with secure off road parking. If we return to York we would definitely book this apartment again.

“Perfect modern apartment York city centre. Highly recommended!” Following a warm welcome from Lynne we found ourselves in a modern, cosy and very well equipped apartment on the doorstep of beautiful York. The supering size bed was fabulous and the chair beds were more than adequate for two tall teenage boys (each have a mattress topper and plenty of bedding). We were extremely well catered for and knew Lynne was available if needed. Of course the welcome goodies were a lovely touch. We found the keypad entry particularly useful with two teenagers. Cases dropped at the apartment, car parked in a 'just park' ,collected the car on leaving; no need for a car given such close proximity to everything. Would love to re-visit. Thanks Lynne!

“superb family house that ticks all boxes” the house was immaculate. very welcoming and comfortable. all rooms of ample size, beds all comfortable, no complaints! it was very much home from home. kitchen was well equipped with all utensils needed for a large family stay. well heated day and night and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and so much so we loved the house and felt very much at home, which is a lovely feeling when you are on holiday. would recommend to anyone, families especially. the walk into york centre was about 10mins which was fab to be so close to everything. great takeaways close by as well as local shop on corner for essentials. cannot praise the owners enough. answered all my picky questions prior to arrival and most helpful. thank you janet for making our family gathering a special one. our parents enjoyed themselves having all the family around them on their 50th wedding anniversary. would be back if you will have us! thanks again. x
