“Our Somerset farm holiday” What a delightful converted Bull stall we stayed in. Set in the tiny village of Penselwood in a peaceful rural location with next to no traffic and plenty of country walks right outside the front door. The proprietors were very welcoming and kind. They even presented us with half a dozen freshly laid eggs as a welcome gift. The property was clean with all amenities supplied. No complaints whatsoever with the cottage. Being a working farm we were often encouraged to help out and we were allowed the run of the farm. Our daughter particularly enjoyed fussing over all the animals. Stacking bales of hay last thing in the day was pretty exhausting but enjoyable at the same time. And as for herding the sheep. They tend to have a mind of their own. I'm trying very hard to think of what we didn't like about the Bull Stall. Cannot think of one thing :)
