GRAND EDINBURGH SELF CATERING ACCOMMODATION

Harvieston Hall is a grand 17th Century mansion house and is perfect for large groups seeking Edinburgh self catering accommodation. Large groups are well accommodated in this country retreat, which can cater for up to 34 guests in 11 spacious bedrooms. High ceilings and luxurious decor will assure you an excellent time in an extraordinary place. Edinburgh city centre is just 30 minutes away, so you haven't got to go far to take advantage of all that this fantastic city has to offer!

HARVIESTON HALL ROOM LAYOUT

LOUNGE

The house has a large country lounge with an array of comfortable sofas and chairs to accommodate large groups of family and friends to enjoy a cosy atmosphere in front of a large open fire. Lounge includes flat screen TV for stay-in evenings and 5G wi-fi to keep in touch with the world. If your celebrations would include dancing, the size of the lounge allows it to be transferred into the dance floor.

DINING HALL

This stunning room is the heart of the house where you can feel the grandeur and magnitude of this magnificent place. Up to 24 guests at once can enjoy meals in this splendid room admiring gold leaves on the ceiling and be warmed up with majestic wood burning fire.

THREE KITCHENS AROUND THE HOUSE

Main kitchen just next to the dining room presents a rustic and cosy look with all necessary appliances, cookware and tableware. You will have plenty of space in two big fridges. Coming off the main stairs, guests can find a contemporary kitchen with more storage, lots of cupboard space and everything you'll need for your self catering stay. The third kitchen can be found at the end of the house in a self contained flat.

GROUND FLOOR

On the ground floor you will find 2 bathrooms, four bedrooms, 3 kitchens, a dining room and a lovely lounge.

THE GRAND STAIRCASE

The beautiful Grand Staircase leads to the second floor of the property where you'll find 7 further bedrooms and four bathrooms.

THE GRAND BEDROOM

The stunning domed ceiling is a fabulous part of the structure above the master bedroom suite – which is simply palatial!

The Grand bedroom, comfortably sleeps 5 guests in splendour and still has space to relax and enjoy the spectacular ceiling in all its glory. The late 19th Century lounge has all original fully working shutters.

GARDENS

The house is set out of the town and it provides a tranquil and private environment for everyone who needs to escape busy city life. Mature wildlife gardens will encourage nature walks around beautiful fields and Gore Water stream.

HOT TUB

The house also has easy access to the Hot tub at the back of the property to relax in, available at an extra fee.

FREE PARKING

We have enough space on our private driveway to accommodate a significant amount of cars to park in close proximity to the house. We are also working on creating big parking just next to the property for further convenience.

For rooms 9 and 10, a bathroom with shower over the bath is fitted on second floor.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Justin (the owner) a message.

If Justin (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
