“Great cottage fantastic location.” Greeted by the owner, full of information, very friendly and helpful. welcome pack awaited us on arrival. lovely cottage fully equipped, probably more kitchen items than most of us have at home. climbing frame for children in garden, luckily we had glorious weather, but there was a fully equipped games room for wet days. everything worked and it was spotlessly clean, Would gladly go back if the need arose. Nice quiet location, good walk into Goathland once you find the way.

“Fortnight in the Dales” Wonderful welcome by Liz and Richard as always with the wonderful scones. The Dales was its usual heavenly place with picturesque views in all directions from the farmhouse. Cannot wait to return next year. Three Horseshoes at Wensley provided excellent food and dog friendly.

We have family nearby and will be recommending this accoomodation to all of them .. Be prepared there are no shops .. but a cracking friendly pub in the village ..
