Worthy Cottage sleeps up to 2 guests and offers a quiet retreat from the everyday bustle of life; downstairs is the open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting room with wood-burner. Upstairs is the bathroom and bedroom with king-sized bed and great views across the Manor gardens to the sea beyond. The private garden (not enclosed) next to the cottage offers an ideal spot to enjoy this corner of Exmoor. Sleeps 2, Beautiful and secluded location, Fabulous walking from the door including the South West Coastal path Open plan kitchen/sitting room with wood-burner, Spacious bedroom, Shower over bath in the upstairs bathroom, Private garden (not enclosed) adjacent to the property, Use of main Manor gardens including sun loungers. Friendly owner lives next door, Off-road parking for one car, Wireless broadband, Towels and linen provided, Electricity included, Dogs welcome (2 max) for 25 GBP supplement per dog, Walking distance (5-7 minutes) from Porlock Weir with popular pub, hotel, restaurant - through the fields or by road, Grocery shops only 2 miles. Worthy Cottages is ideal if you are looking for a base for walking; the South West Coast Path runs right past offering dramatic cliff paths, farm tracks, fields and beautiful wooded combes with seasonal waterfalls and streams between Worthy Cottage and Lynmouth. The kitchen is fitted with washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven and ceramic hob. Other equipment includes toaster, kettle, a variety of kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses. Iron and Ironing board and hair dryer are included. A new addition is a Nespresso coffee machine [a small selection of pods is provided on arrival]. The TV has an Amazon Firestick providing access to Amazon Prime, Netflix , BBC iplayer, ITV Hub, BT Sport and the owners Library of films/TV series etc. WIFI is available throughout the property. There is no dishwasher. Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation. Worthy Cottage is fitted with wall-mounted heaters in the bedroom and living area, which can provide instant heat or programmed to suit, plus a wall-mounted heater and heated towel rail in the bathroom. There is also a wood burner in the living area; kindling, matches and one basket of logs will be provided. Additional logs can be purchased from the owner or from the hardware shop in Porlock. Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips. A small amount of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits are provided to ensure you can have a hot drink as soon as you arrive. Cleaning materials such as washing up liquid, washing powder and surface cleaner will be present in the property. Two toilet rolls will be provided. Worthy Cottage has its own private garden (not enclosed). There is walking straight from the door into the woods behind or down to the beach where dogs are allowed all year round. Off-road parking for one car is available directly outside the property. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement (maximum of 2). A supplementary fee of 25 GBP will be added to your invoice per dog. Please do not allow your dogs on the sofa or upstairs and do not leave them alone in the property at any time. Worthy Cottage is strictly non-smoking. Please leave the property clean and tidy so that we can guarantee it will be ready on time for our next guests.
