Response from the manager
Thank you for your review. The owner is very disappointed that you did not enjoy the apartment on your most recent visit. The owner takes feedback very seriously and since your review has replaced the blankets on the double bed with a duvet and also removed the basket in the bathroom. Additionally, the metalwork on the balcony has recently been renewed. The owner has assured us that at no time was the balcony unsafe, although the railing had become rusted in appearance due to sea air exposure. The owner wishes to point out that all electrical appliances in the apartment are PAT tested annually and are therefore perfectly safe. Any thing not up to standard would have been removed and replaced. In addition the apartment is inspected annually by Visit Scotland who have awarded it a three star quality rating for the last six consecutive years. The owner has stated that they are greatly concerned that guests enjoy their stay and any comments or criticisms are of immense importance to them. A testament to the standard of this apartment is the fact that we have many satisfied repeat guests.
