"Gorgeous cottage, gorgeous location"

This was our second visit to this beautiful cottage and were delighted to see that it's still in lovely condition. It's spacious, well appointed and warm.
Exmoor is blessed with moors and sea which, to my mind, provide all the ingredients for the perfect holiday, and this cottage is well located for visiting its highlights.
The village pub, The Lion, although unassuming, does some very fine food should you not be inclined to cook in the lovely kitchen.
I can't see any reason why we shan't be visiting again.

Great accommodation great village very friendly locals and wonderful scenery I have to say about this property as I feel I have expressed my views, to insist that I write 200 characters is ridiculous!

"Home from home"

This is a really lovely cottage in lovely surroundings and the perfect base for travelling around the Exmoor area. We had a fantastic week. This is our 5th visit to Timberscombe but 1st to The Barn having previously stayed in the cottage next door (also owned by Avill Holidays). The rooms are comfortably furnished and are equipped with everything you could need especially the kitchen. There is the welcome pack of flowers, wine & milk and tea, coffee & sugar in the store cupboard so you can start your holiday straight away.
The large garden is perfect for sitting out, unfortunately we didn't have the weather but the dog enjoyed exploring out there and it is fully enclosed so no worries of him wandering off.
