The Cheshire region

Chester and Cheshire is famous for many things and attracts visitors from around the world for that very reason. Spectacular scenery, magnificent gardens and a great range of fascinating tours and guided walks mean that there is plenty to explore for those who like the great outdoors. The region also boasts rich cultural and industrial heritage, an extensive events programme and some breath-taking historic houses. And that’s just a small taste.

When it comes to attractions, North Wales offers something to suit every taste... you will find there just aren't enough hours in the day or days in the week.

Castles, stately homes, gardens, lively family parks, art galleries, craft centres, museums, steam trains. You can potter around charming towns and villages, explore the rugged coastline, feel soft sand between your toes, or have some family fun at the many events taking place all year round. Whatever the weather, there is something for everyone.

The Peak District National Park covers 500 square miles across several counties and attracts visitors from around the world. Derbyshire is famous for its natural beauty from peaks and dales to picturesque villages. It really does have something for everyone – for the more energetic there is fantastic walking, sailing and climbing. It has more historic houses than you can shake a stick at, the most famous of these is Chatsworth and well worth a visit.

Hale is a vibrant village renowned for its specialist shops, services and

restaurants which are within a reasonable walking distance of the

property. Hale railway station offers links with Knutsford, and further

afield to Chester. Hale and its surrounding towns and villages are

particularly favoured, having good commuter links into Manchester City

Centre and Salford Quays via the Metrolink facility at Altrincham

station. The access point to the North West motorway network and

Manchester International Airport are also a short driving time away.
