A luxurious and unique beach cottage with an uninterrupted sea-view from the private balcony.

Bank Top Cottage backs onto Cresswell beach where it sits on the tide defences at the south-end of beautiful Druridge bay in Northumberland. The position of the cottage means peace and quiet away from public access. The cottage boasts underfloor heating throughout, modern kitchen fittings and bathroom suite. The bedroom has a king bed with Egyptian cotton sheets & towels are included for two people. There is plenty of storage for your belongings.

The cottage is 400 years old, but was painstakingly rebuilt using the original stone in 2010. The owners paid attention to every detail, from the beautiful tiled floors to the glass-fronted balcony overlooking the 9 miles of white sand beach to Coquet Lighthouse in the north.

The lounge/kitchen is open plan, with large bi-folding doors that can open fully onto the balcony overlooking the north sea. With reclaimed beams and 4 Velux windows, the space is light and spacious for two people. The kitchen has everything you need to create delicious meals and we include the bits like washing up liquid, kitchen roll, sponges, dishwasher tablets. The lounge has seating for 4 people (one three seated leather couch, one designer armchair), a 32 inch wall mounted flat screen TV with Blu-ray/DVD, and a convection fire should you need an extra blast of warmth on the colder days. There are also a selection of local information leaflets and books containing many walks for the area.

The bathroom includes a heated towel rail, a heated vanity mirror with shaving socket, a luxury bath/shower, a sink with Mason & Miller toiletries and 2 soft close drawers for storage and a floating W/C.

The bedroom has a king size bed fitted with white Eqyptian cotton sheets. With 2 bedside cabinets, a 22inch TV with FreeSat, alarm/DAB radio, and built in storage cupboard, you have plenty of comforts to enjoy.

You'll feel like royalty in this gorgeous, one of a kind cottage and with the ever-changing ocean view you'll leave feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated.

The local area of Cresswell is a historic fishing village that houses lots of great walks and is easy access to the rest of beautiful Northumberland for you to make the most of exploring the county during your holiday.There is private parking enough for 2 cars outside Bank Top Cottage.
