Clock Cottage is a handsome listed detached brick and flint cottage in a desirable and sought after convenient location. The spacious self-catering accommodation is set within the grounds of Home Farm House, an important farmhouse dating back to the 17th Century. The cottage extends over 1,200 square foot providing hall, sitting room, study, fitted kitchen/ dining room, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, garden and a private south facing courtyard. The property has recently been renovated with a brand new kitchen and bathroom.

Clock Cottage provides an excellent base whether you are looking for family accommodation close to Cambridge City, a romantic hideaway, a peaceful retreat to write or study or a comfortable base from which to explore, walk or cycle around the countryside or city.

The small village of Babraham is located about 6 miles south of Cambridge City Centre. Buses depart regularly from the end of the village, or for those with a car there is the option of the Park & Ride a short drive away. The village has a pub in the centre - the George Inn - which is a short stroll away and serves food.

Clock Cottage can comfortably sleep 4 people in 2 bedrooms. One of the bedrooms contains a king sized bed, and the other can be configured either with two single beds or with one super king size bed (please advise at time of booking).

The generous sitting room has two sofas, flat screen TV, soundbar, DVD player and a woodburner.

The property has a study with a desk and fast wifi broadband (c. 35 Mbps).

The kitchen has washing machine, tumble dryer, Nespresso coffee machine, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster.

The bathroom has a bath as well as separate shower cubicle.

How do damage deposits work?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send David (the owner) a message.

If David (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
