Seabank farmhouse has a spectacular setting with magnificent loch and mountain views.

Situated near the small village of Benderloch, 9 miles north of Oban on the scenic west coast of Scotland.

Set in its own peaceful, grounds yet only 20 minutes from the harbour town of Oban with restaurants, cafes and shops.(Seafood Capital of Scotland). There is a beach in front of the house which is ideal for launching kayaks.

The area offers great opportunities for most outdoor pursuits including, walking, cycling, climbing ,sailing and sea-kayaking . There is an abundance of wildlife with deer, badgers, otters, seals and many species of bird in the woods behind Seabank and on the shore in front of the house. Please visit our web site at the bottom of the page which has lots of ideas of things to do in this area. Day trips to the islands of Mull, Iona and Staffa are very popular with my guests and May and June are good months to visit when the puffins are ashore on Staffa. Marine wildlife trips also available.

Oban has a whisky distillery offering tours and tasting of the single malt whisky.

Congratulations to the chef at the Isle of Eriska hotel for achieving a Michelin star in Sept 2014. My guests at Seabank can now add a wonderful gourmet experience to their itinerary.

"The perfect farmhouse"

Our group of 6, my family of four (with kids 10 and 8), and my two parents (75 y.o.), had a memorable and amazing stay at The Seabank Farmhouse! We only stayed for three nights, and wished we could have stayed longer. The accommodations were cozy, clean, spacious and just beautiful! Sandy, the owner, was such a sweet lady, and she welcomed us with her delicious home baked scones and fresh cut hydrangeas. When the wi-fi needed to be reset, she took care of it immediately. The property is huge - we saw deer in the backyard, and we walked to the end of the road to do some fishing. The farmhouse is situated in Benderloch, and is just a short drive to Oban. It is a nice and remote place with gorgeous views of the water, and everything you need to just stay put is available. We hope to come back very soon. It was one of our favorite places to stay on our trip to Scotland!

"Really nice"

The house is really nice, you have everything you need and the surroundings are just beautiful. We weren't lucky with the weather (this is Scotland!) but we had time to go for a walk to a beach nearby, and I would really recommend that.
The house is really clean and the beds are very comfortable. We loved spending time by the fireplace!!

Thanks for your lovely comments. Tralee Beach is nearby and it is a popular walk with my guests. Everyone loves the cosy wood burning stove in the winter evenings. Hope to see you again at the Farmhouse. Regards Sandy
