“Nice cottage, quiet, great base for exploring the region” On arrival my wife and I received a friendly welcome by Mark. He showed us around the cottage and gave us good advice on walks in the immediate area. The cottage is nice with everything you could need, the garden is enclosed and good for dogs or children. There are good beaches at Mossyard and Luce Bay within 20 minutes or so drive. The surrounding area is stunning. Easy access to coastal towns and Galloway Forest Park. The town is a short and enjoyable walk away. There's something for everyone. We could have spent much longer there and definitely want to go back. Highly recommended.
