The Cinque Ports of Romney, Hastings, Rye and Hythe offer historic days out in these charming towns, while the miniature Romney and Hythe Railway is a must for seeing this part of the coastline. Further inland can be found the towns of Battle and Tenterden, with churches and buildings steeped in history, good shopping and at Tenterden, a full size steam railway.
