Old Priory Cottage is a charming house, hidden from the road in a walled garden. It's in a unique and a very special setting - just a few minutes’ walk from the High Street in Dunster and less than a stone’s throw from some of Dunster's historic buildings including St George's church, the Dovecote and the Tithe Barn. Old Priory Cottage is totally self-contained but is attached to the main house. The property was built in the 12th century as a small Benedictine priory. The front door opens into the sitting-room with beams, window seat and Victorian log-burner in an open fireplace. A door leads to the farmhouse kitchen with a large open fireplace, wooden flooring and beams. There is an unusually large cottage stairway leading to two bedrooms and a bathroom.
