“After numerous other boating holidays an unrivalled experience, the 3 newbies of us are so content, we didn't miss it!” Arriving from the Continent, we enjoyed after all still an unproblematic entrance via LHR, T5, followed by a swift bus and train transfer to the base, where the really warm welcome ended up with the comprehensive, yet also easily understandable tuition and briefing, which eventually led us into the first lock downstream, we coped with in a stress-free way, as advised by Ray in a perfect laid back manner. Thanks! Later on it was big fun, especially all the unmanned locks of the Wey Navigation. Pressing buttons in the "self service" River Thames' locks was quite different and visiting Windsor is doable, provided you are aware of the "Gift" encircling you. Smiley!
