“Home from home” A lovely little cottage with the right amount of homely comforts with some thoughtful touches from the owners.
Love the honesty they afford you as the guest ( accidents happen, just let us know!) will use again.
Beautiful place plenty to do and lovely places to eat
Lands End St Ives and the Minack Theatre are not far away
Also Lizard Point and Kynace Cove are worth a visit …
Trevenner Farm House, Marazion
Excellent accommodation for a holiday, would highly recommend Trevenner Farm.
Excellent accommodation for our group of 7. My family with 3 young children as well as grandparents. Plenty of space for 7-8 people and definitely did not feel we were on top of one another.
Booking was a breeze and the owner was very helpful, courteous and polite. The directions to the cottage and key access were clearly and easily explained. I particularly liked the PDF file that I received which also explained how to work the appliances.
Travelling from California we wanted an old English cottage coupled with modern appliances and we were not disappointed. The kitchen was large with plenty of room to cook and sit down and eat as well. The beds were very comfortable and contributed to some very relaxing sleep. We arrived to cream teas and a very clean cottage. Wi-Fi connection for me is very important (sadly need to keep in touch with work even on holiday!) and the connection was great and fast. We had a week of glorious sunshine, so we didn't use the wood fire in the living room. However, wood was provided and I imagine this would make the cottage very cosy in the colder months. In short, a fantastic holiday in a lovely cottage with a nice local pub just round the corner. …
The Silver House
The ideal home away from home
We spend a wonderful week in the Silver House. Our two little children aged 3 and 5 fell in love with the place, the friendly people, the beaches and the hot choclate in the various cafes we visited. It was a wonderful magical stay even though it rained six days out of seven. We still went to the beaches in the vicinity every day and our children loved collecting sea shells. The view of St. Michael´s Mount never ceased to amaze as did the constant sound of the sea and seagulls. That the pub across the road served a very good pint was a pleasant extra. We will definitely consider coming again. …
Quiet, comfy and well equipped. Super location for exploring West Cornwall
We had a really enjoyable stay at Elm Cottage and the owner could not have been more helpful in accommodating us. The cottage is set about half a mile from Marazion on a quiet road from which we could see the bay and St Michael's Mount.
Plenty of space for our young family, well equipped kitchen, decent sized living, dining and sleeping areas. Also a small courtyard space for loafing about outside. The garage was a huge benefit as parking in the village - and indeed around West Cornwall - is sparse and/ or expensive and we had no problems getting our family car in.
We would definitely recommend Elm Cottage and will definitely be back. …
Trevalganview Dog Friendly
A gem of a find
Perfect location. Close to the town and beach. We were so impressed with all the touches Andrea had added to the apartment to make this a perfect home from home. The cream tea, wine and the milk were a very kind thought and a very nice touch. The apartment was very nicely appointed and equipped far better than we would expect from a self catering apartment. Thank you Andrea. We will definitely be back. …
Chy Lowenna, cosy stone cottage by the sea
Fab Cottage in lovely Marazion
A very welcoming and cosy cottage where we enjoyed 5 days in comfort enjoying lovely Marazion.
We were 2 adults 2 children (10 & 7) and Ernie our black lab.
Marazion was a good base for visiting locally (Landsend, Gunwalloe Cove, Kynance Cove, Gweek, Eden, Sennen Cove) and had everything we needed.
We booked a supermarket delivery for our arrival so we had plenty of supplies. Sampled the pastie shop and had a lovely birthday meal in the Godolphin Arms, and a pint at the Kings Arms.
The beaches were great for the kids and Ernie and views of St Michaels Mount breathtaking.
The cottage was central, warm and perfect for us wanting some quality family time, all the facilities were 100% - the wifi was good so kids and parents happy!
Would definitely return without hesitation. …
