“Fabulous cottage in a lovely village” We stayed at Topaz cottage during an extended trip back to Blighty and Europe to visit friends and family. Our party consisted of our 2 teenage daughters, my wife, my wife's mother and myself. As we used to live in a cottage of much the same dimensions, we felt perfectly at home and did not find the space at all limiting, in fact it was an absolute pleasure. The cottage has all that you could ever need and when the gas fire is on, is lovely and cosy to the point where you really wont want to go out! Perhaps the only issue for some may be the parking. We had a hire car and were also used to Devon on-street parking so this wasn't a problem, though perhaps if you own a large expensive vehicle you may want to consider parking in the village where the spaces are a little more generous. All in all Topaz cottage suited us perfectly and we will certainly be staying there again once we have saved up the airfare from NZ.
