We stayed at this beautiful , quaint cottage for two nights due to getting married up the road. As you can imagine being the bride to be I had lots of questions to ask the owner as I wanted everything to be just perfect. The owner Gemma promptly responded to any questions I had and it seemed like nothing was a problem.
When we arrived at the cottage it was spotlessly clean, we had no faults with the standards of the cottage. One thing that did take us back by surprise was the staircase leading up and down to the bedrooms. This wasn't so much of a problem for my husband and I but we did have my mum
With us and our boy who is 4- he thought they were excellent - but we just needed to be extra careful ,
But I suppose that is needed with any stairs.
The bathroom was very spacious with a beautiful
Deep bath. The shower had one of those 'rain heada' and a pipe hose to it as well- lovely.
The cottage is decorated to a good standard and whilst it's on a main road once your in your quickly forget it !
It was like a home from
Home with everything you would need from pens to an iron to a few board games.
The cottage itself is close to all the necessary amenities even by walking distance.
It was a beautiful touch the owner had left us a card and a lovely bottle of champagne and this clearly
Shows the type of owners of this cottage.
We are considering requesting to go back at another weekend in order to relive our wedding weekend. …
Churchside Guest Apartment
Clean, comfortable and well equipped
The apartment looked freshly decorated, was clean and well-equipped and the rooms were of a good size. We appreciated having tea, coffee, fresh fruit, milk and some superb cookies ready for our arrival. It is a very quiet location, the loudest sound being the woodpeckers in the adjacent woodland. A thoroughly delightful stay. …
