“Super apartment in a peaceful setting”

Reviewed 30 Sep 2012

Collingwood House is a lovely apartment with very large lounge/dining room and bedroom which were really comfortable. Kitchen was small but with all mod cons.It is stylishly furnished and the owners were very welcoming and helpful. It is situated in a peaceful area overlooking the mouth of the river, with boats passing by in the daytime. Tynemouth is a great place to stay - we were really impressed with the unspoilt town and seafront, and there were lots of really interesting places to eat. Its a good base for exploring southern Northumberland
