Very Good

“Nice cottage. Warm welcome. Great location.”

Nice cottage wih good facilities. Owners are welcoming and very helpful if you need anything. We enjoyed the fresh eggs for breakfast and the free tickets to Leeds Castle. The cottage is in a great location for visiting Kent and London. The train station is an easy walk away, so have options of both car and train for getting around. In Marden itself, we recommend eating at the Taj of Kent and eating/drinking at the Unicorn pub, both of which are child friendly.

“Well equipped, lovely stay with a great garden in a quiet environment”

This cosy home is very well located to visit Kent. Many points of interest are easily reached from here. Train station, small shop, restaurants, ... at walking distance. In the cottage you find anything you need, and when the weather is fine there is a great garden too at your disposal! The chickens and ducks made our breakfast very tastefull with their fresh eggs... The owners (who live next door) are always at your disposal and offer a lot of information about things to do and see; and many brochures are in the cottage available. Another very nice experience was the free entrance tickets that we received for Leeds Castle. We brought our own bicycles and enjoyed the quiet roads. We made a trip to Goudhurst, Scotney Castle Gardens, and to Royal Tunbridge Wells. Excursions we made by car : - Leeds Castle - Canterburry - Battle - Rye and an afternoon at the seaside in Camber Sands We had a wonderful time here and would surely recommend this location to stay at!

Cottage was lovely, everything you would need, but The master bedroom was below owner house and we never sleep the week we were there.on the wednesday I had enough and husband spoke to owner .noise was a bit less .If it was not the fact that we had pre booked war and peace tickets and a lot of money .we would have just came home.if it was not for that we would use this cottage as near hop farm.

A late review but non the less a positive one:-) We had a great time in this cottage. The cottage itself was fully equipped, nicely decorated and more than your money’s worth. The owners Saff and Nishi were super friendly and gave us some ideas for our sightseeing trip! Kent is a lovely area with friendly and lovely villages as well as loads of shopping centers and outlet centers. Close to the grand design eco house, Leeds Castle (thank you for your advice on these 2 visits, Noshi) which was interesting. All in all we had a wonderful time in a wonderful cottage with lovely hosts that had the thin line of privacy and friendliness down to a fine art.
