This elegantly-presented cottage adjoins the owners 18th century stone-built farmhouse on their working farm and is set in private historic parklands. Set just two miles from Lydbury North, this cottage can sleep two people. Set on the ground floor, this cottage features a king-size double bedroom with TV/DVD and an en-suite bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a lawned garden with a ha-ha running to one side, with a patio, furniture, barbecue and access to the enclosed orchard. Walcot Farm is a lovely holiday base for a couple to get away for a well-deserved romantic break.

Amenities: Oil central heating in the bedroom and hall with electric heating in the living area. Electric oven and hob, microwave, larder fridge, 2 x TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lawned garden with ha-ha running to one side, patio with furniture, BBQ and access to enclosed orchard. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2.5 miles, pub 1.3 miles across private land. Note: Tesco deliveries available. Region: A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was "the quietest place under the sun" and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.

Town: The market town of Bishop's Castle boasts a weekly market and a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. Walks and cycle routes are nearby, as is the towns of Ludlow and Shrewsbury.
