The rooms 31'x 20' has a large period fireplace and retains the original coving, which is carved with Masonic emblems. Three large comfy sofas and elegant window seats make this an ideal room for your champagne reception.
The Music Room
This lovely room has beautiful views and has a Yamaha grand piano which is available for your use.
The Library
This has window seats and working shutters. It is the “Games Room” with a wide selection of books, games and 2 cards table.
The Lounge
This large, attractive room is the 'Media Room” and has state-of-the-art surround sound 50” TV with Sky Plus, DVD, video and karaoke. A wide selection of DVD's, CD's and videos are available.
The Main Kitchen
This has an extensive range of National Trust Heritage Farrow and Ball painted units, granite worktops, twin butler sinks, twin gas hobs, double electric ovens, 2 dishwashers, fridges, washing machine and dryer. It is fully equipped for 26 people. There is a refectory table with seating for 8.
2nd Kitchen
This is fully fitted with American oak units, sink, gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. There is a table with seating for 6.
The Conservatory
This can be accessed from the front of the house and has space for muddy boots and wet clothes.
The Dining Room
Leads directly off the kitchen. It is a beautiful and an unusual shape being directly under the chapel. It has space for 26 to dine in comfort.
The Sauna Room
This holds the sauna and steam shower and leads out to the walled garden which enjoys the morning sun andis perfect for a quiet coffee.
The Billiards Room
This is a superb room (27' x 20') containing a professional full size billiards table with light above. This is fully equipped with everything required to play snooker including a scoreboard.
The Games Rooms
Located in the clock tower are 2 games rooms. One has a full size table tennis table and the other has table football and air hockey. There is also a well equipped kiddies playroomwith TV, videos, DVD's and a wide selection of games and toys for the under 7's.
The Bedrooms
There are 13 bedrooms – 7 doubles/King and 4 twins, 1 single and 1 triple providing flexibility for families or singles within a party of 26.
There are 12 bathrooms/shower rooms (9 en-suite.) and 2 extra toilets.
The Master Bedroom is a lovely room with a Super King Size four-poster bed and dressing room leading through to the en-suite.
The Chapel is also a magnificent and unusual room with a King size 4 poster bed. All the rooms are furnished to the highest standards and provide very comfortable sleeping accommodation.
Victorian bedroom 2 has recently been renovated and has a disabled friendly period en-suite with shower and free standing slipper bath

The property itself occupies a secluded position on the edge of the village.The grounds are a particular feature and are in excess of 2 acres. The Hall is approached via a long gravelled driveway leading through protected woodland to a turning area and carriagecircle.
The gardens are principally laid to lawn with stunning views across undulating countryside to the south west and over the ha-ha, and adjacent to pastureland with views of the Church to the north.
Skendleby provides a peaceful and secluded setting for holidaymakers searching some tranquility in today's busy world.
We have table tennis, table football and air hockey in our 2 games rooms as well as the full size snooker table. There is a Playroom for the under 7's which is packed with games and toys and has its own TV with videos. For music lovers there is a stereo system and selection of CDs in the main lounge.
There is a 5-a-side football goal on the main lawn and a Jacques croquet set available in the conservatory
