“A lovely house in a great location”

Reviewed 3 Mar 2017

The house was lovely; it provided lots of space for a large family gathering. It was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was so helpful that each bedroom had a bathroom. The table tennis table was a big draw; we would have loved to have used the patio table, overlooking the lovely garden, but perhaps a bit of an ask in February! The location was great. We were in Brighton in less than half an hour. It was nice to walk across he fields towards Albourne. We had a lovely time and we will be back sometime in he future.

“Wonderful house in a beautiful setting”

Reviewed 21 May 2014

ust returned from a fabulous weekend at The Mill. The house was beautiful - absolutely perfect for our group of 10 girls and everyone commented on how welcoming and homely it felt. The decor is very modern and tasteful - there's clearly been effort and time spent making this homely and the perfect rental place. The garden was beyond what we'd expected - it helped we had amazing weather to enjoy it, but there were chairs, loungers and plenty of space. Was great to be able to BBQ and enjoy it! It's a beautifully maintained garden, and property. In a lovely area of the UK, with plenty to do around it and not far from Brighton. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a property for 10 - the en-suites with each room are a huge bonus as often rental houses have limited bathrooms, and the kitchen really did have everything we needed and was large enough for many cooks! I know everyone agreed we'd found a real gem, so thank you for such a lovely weekend - the house made it very memorable.

“Highly recommended, we had a great time”

We had a fantastic stay. The house is really beautiful and has everything you could think you would need and more! Ruth is an amazing host and very helpful. During our stay we went to Goodwood racecourse and had trips into Brighton. The station is about 10 mins away but there is a taxi rank based there so very easy to get to if some members of the group dont drive. We only stayed for a few nights but there seemed to be lots of local nice walks and the garden is lovely with a great BBQ. The rooms are very nice, lots of room for a big group and ideal for families and groups of friends.
